@ofpparks
It had been a few days since the incident in her room and Josie was more confused than ever. After the ill-advised kiss (then again, all their kisses were ill-advised these days), Penelope had gone record silent. Of course, there were the occasional glances met with smug smirks but Penelope hadn’t said a word to her since. Did she finally get the message? More importantly, was Josie relieved that Penelope was no longer talking to her (and by extension, hurting her)? She should be relieved, right? Then why did it bother her so much that she had been thinking of the girl even more than when they were together.
Josie really couldn’t win. Falling in love with Penelope was a losing game.
She thought of the letter that she had given her, untouched yet in full view of her every time she entered her room. Josie was consistently tempted to open it. In fact, she had stressed-baked a few times just to get rid of her urge to rip it open and consume it. Nevertheless, Josie was too stubborn. If she couldn’t control her actions around Penelope, she should at least be able to control her actions when she wasn’t. She couldn’t give Penelope that satisfaction (nor did she want to risk reading something that would make the wound in her heart worse).
She had to remember that this was all a game to Penelope.
And she remembered that. What Josie didn’t remember was that a few months ago, they had signed up to supervise a school trip for the underclassmen. Penelope didn’t want to but Josie’s dad needed help, therefore Josie was on overdrive trying to convince anyone that she could to join her. Unfortunately for Penelope, they were dating at that time so she had no choice but to agree.
It was annoying how Penelope was always right; Josie now regretted her decision.
That was what led Josie to her current predicament: she was sitting on a crowded bus with kids, Penelope squished into the seat beside her. Unlike Lizzie, Josie didn’t have a Pedro to hang out with. They were stuck together for this entire trip and Josie was half-tempted to play dead so that she could escape the torture. There were spells for that, right?
Ships I Ship: Pitch Perfect couples
*I hate that the third movie dropped all the boys that had been there since the beginning. That being said, I didn’t mind Chloe and Chicago (I couldn’t find a single picture of them), but I know that’s not what the fandom wanted. Also, it was cute that Lilly found a guy that was as weird as her, but *spoiler* I’m not even sure if Lilly is her real name anymore lol.
Pitch Perfect vs Ao3 tags Part 6/??
teenage anna kendrick was such a blessing
All is full of love
Wait, but why are people pretending that a female presenting person saying “ow, my testicles” in the original script for Pitch Perfect 2 is somehow trans representation instead of, you know, the offensive transphobic joke it blatantly is?
Having a female presenting person “reveal” that they have testicles in a film that classifies itself as a comedy is not representation. It’s intended as a joke. So then think about it. Actually think it through. What is the punchline here if not “I thought their gender was one thing and then it was actually another!” What does that say about trans people? Why the fuck are some people celebrating this?
Why are people trying to pretend the Pitch Perfect 2 script is anything but a vile trash pile?
Stop digging around in shit and pretending it’s a chocolate sundae. It’s seriously not good for your health.
What she says: i'm fine
What she's thinking: did the bellas register all of those members for competition? wouldn't the judges have then known the group would be fucking huge? wasn't there a gap to how large a group could be? and if they didn't register everyone wouldn't they get disqualified and disgrace the college more?
