First attempt ever at an underwater scene in color. Overworked as absolute hell, but since when was that not my thing anyway. Intended as a gift for an aquaintance who from the very start has been cheering me on in my rekindled artistic pursuits.

-Arches hot pressed cotton paper.

-Winsor and Newton watercolors (Indigo, Payne's Gray).

-Winsor and Newton gouache (Zinc White).

-Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

-Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils.

-Sakura white gel pens.

-Uni Pin fine liners (Sepia, Light Gray, Dark Gray).

The work week is over for me, and hopefully that means I can move past my art block. Got some new paper that I tried tonight, which I don't think works for my painting style, but I love these colours so that's okay

✨️🦆 The Black and White sketch was the first one. i thought that looked like ✨️💩✨️ and couldnt post it like this on its own. So i recoloured it. this time i took a picture of Edmund from Narnia as a reference for the Light situation. Same base sketch as before but different lighting/coloring.

and Let me tell you... THAT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER HOLY SHIT 🦆✨️😍 😍😍

Now i can sleep :> knowing that i drew something that doesnt look like ✨️💩✨️
