For those taking the PSAT today

Don’t stress too much; it is the practice after all

The real SAT wasn’t horrible, but remember to review some of their questions on the website

Math is mostly Algebra and Geometry

Eeach English question should last about a minute, so skim through that paragraph as much to the point you’ll understand it (ie. know the intro and concluding, know the main points of each body) 

PRE-READ the English question in case you don’t have to read the whole passage

Remember that there is NO more WRONG ANSWER PENALTY so ANSWER EVERYTHING

After the test is over, everything will be turned into a joke or a meme. Trust me. It happened after I took it even though they say not to talk about it. Dora and wolves....smh

The English section (Reading) is usually 2-3 easy passages, the one everyone hates, and then the final passage

Grammar section should be a piece of cake if, well, you can follow along the given passages easily and correct their grammar. Review grammar things...it’s important!

On the math section where you have to fill in your own answer, just fill it in even if you don’t know. Remember, there is no penalty unless you leave it blank

When taking the real SAT, get a wonderful amount of sleep (seriously!), eat a breakfast that will keep you awake, bring good snacks and water, check the website to make sure you have an approved calculator and any of the other listed rules

Also, it’s going to be a Saturday when you take the real SAT. No stress of school, just the freedom of chilling after it’s over. Trust me, you’ll do fine.

Reminder that it IS just a practice and you will do wonderfuffle! <3 Take it as a learning moment (ie. “Oh, I took too long for this one section”, “Ah, I need to review this”,”Hm, I don’t know if I learned this or have to review”)

Today at pep band Glaser was hella sassy and yelled at a percussionist, "Why are you in such a hurry, you can't get your cookies and water with your drum still on?" And then Diego preceeded to yell out, "but that's going to cost you $45" I laughed so hard at the reference I couldn't play then entire next song.
