I finished reading Christine yesterday night and I enjoyed it more than I thought. I had read The Shining and Carrie from King and didn’t really enjoy either, so I was pleasantly surprised when Christine was actually enjoyable. I’m happy with the way it ended but didn’t like the epilogue. I also finished Mansfield Park. It was a decent read but I still enjoy Austen’s other stories better. Emma, S&S and P&P, are all better to me. I want to read about 100 pages of Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier before bed. I went through all my flashcards, finished section 7 of my exercise book and did a practice test today. I got 49/50 and I’m really happy with the progress. Want to keep working on it because I feel like there are still things I either don’t know, or am unsure of, but I’m happy with the way I’m progressing with it. I also did 200 words of writing, which isn’t much but still better than nothing. I’m excited with the new story. I still need to figure out what I’m doing with it, but excited regardless. I also edited my CV. A pretty nice day. I hope today has been treating everyone well. If not, sending love! 💕
I was going to say Sabrina since I watch that every October, but then decided to google autumn movies to get some ideas. When Harry Met Sally is on the list, and that’s a great movie. So is St. Elmo's Fire which makes me want to rewatch it. Ooh, Mystic Pizza is also on the list. Nice. Love that movie. I have it on DVD and I’ve watched it a few times. I guess all of those are great movies I enjoy and now want to watch, except Sabrina since I watched it last Friday and I’m in no rush to rewatch it again. (I enjoy the movie but another rewatch this soon would kill it for me.)
