बचपन से ही बनना चाहते थे बिज़नेसमैन
मध्य प्रदेश के इंदौर जिले के एक साधारण परिवार में जन्में प्रफुल्ल बचपन से ही बिज़नेसमैन बनना चाहते थे। इसी सपने को साकार करने के लिए उन्होंने बीकॉम की डिग्री प्राप्त की और लगातार 3 साल तक CAT जैसे Exams की भी तैयारी की, लेकिन उन्हें सफलता नहीं मिली। अन्य लोगों की तरह प्रफुल्ल भी पूरी तरह से निराश हो गए। उन्हें लगा कि वो कुछ कर नहीं पाएंगे। उन्होंने बहुत दिनों तक अपने आप को कमरे मे बंद कर लिया और बस सोचते रहे कि आगे अब क्या करना है? इसी सोच के कारण वो डिप्रेशन का भी शिकार हो गए। लेकिन उनकी किस्मत को कुछ और ही मंजूर था।
ऐसे मिला आइडिया

बिज़नेस प्लान के बिना ही शुरू किया काम
लगभग पूरा भारत घूम चुके प्रफुल्ल के पास अपने बिज़नेस को लेकर कोई प्लान नहीं था। प्रफुल्ल के दिमाग में एक बात आयी कि क्यों ना चाय बेचने का बिज़नेस शुरू किया जाए। लेकिन उन्हें यह भी लग रहा था कि लोग क्या कहेंगे, पर लोगों की बात की परवाह किए बिना उन्होंने अपने पिताजी से 10-15 हज़ार रुपये एक इंटरनेशनल कोर्स करने के नाम पर लिए और एक छोटी सी चाय की दुकान खोली। उन्हें ऐसा करने में 45 दिन लग गए।
शुरूआत में नहीं मिला एक भी ग्राहक
जोश-जोश में प्रफुल्ल ने चाय का स्टॉल तो लगा लिया था, लेकिन शुरूआत में कोई भी ग्राहक उनकी दुकान पर चाय पीने नहीं आता था। ऐसे समय में प्रफुल्ल हार मानने की बजाय खुद ही चाय लेकर ग्राहकों के पास जाते थे और उन्हें चाय ऑफर करते थे। वो लोगों से अंग्रेजी में बात करते और फ्री में चाय ऑफर करते थे। लोगों को उनका यह अंदाज पसंद आने लगा और लोग उनकी ओर आकर्षित होने लगे। लोगों पर इनका जादू इस कदर चला कि लोग उनके बारे में जानने के लिए हर रोज उनकी दुकान खुलने से पहले ही वहां आ कर बैठने लगे।
पिता के कहने पर किया MBA और फिर से की नई शुरूआत
प्रफुल्ल ने चाय का स्टॉल लगाने की बात अपने घर में नहीं बताई थी। इसलिए जब उनके पिता ने पूछा कि वो क्या कर रहे हैं तो उन्होंने उन्होंने एमबीए में एडमिशन लेने का बहाना बनाया और 50 हजार रुपये लेकर एक लोकल कॉलेज में एमबीए करने के लिए एडमिशन ले लिया। इस समय प्रफुल्ल ने एमबीए कॉलेज में एडमिशन तो ले लिया था पर पढाई में उनका मन नहीं लग रहा था। बस 7 दिन पढ़ने के बाद ही वो समझ गए थे कि यहाँ वक़्त बर्बाद न कर उन्हें वो काम ही करते रहना चाहिए। प्रफुल्ल ने एक बार फिर अहमदाबाद में चाय की दुकान खोली क्योंकि पहले किसी के शिकायत करने के कारण उन्हें दुकान बंद करनी पड़ी थी। लेकिन इस बार उन्होंने एक नया ठिकाना ढूंढा। वो एक हॉस्पिटल के मालिक के पास गये और उनसे दुकान खोलने की बात की और अपनी नयी दूकान खोल ली।
MBA चाय वाला के नाम से ऐसे लिखी सफलता की कहानी
प्रफुल्ल ने अपना पूरा समय चाय बेचने के बिज़नेस पर ही लगा दिया। बढ़ते हुए बिज़नेस के साथ-साथ प्रफुल्ल को अब अपने चाय की दुकान के लिए एक अच्छा सा नाम भी चाहिए था। इसीलिए उन्होंने बहुत सोच विचार कर एमबीए चाय वाला नाम रखा। जिसके MBA का मतलब Mr Billore Ahmedabad है। इसी एक नाम से उस छोटे से चाय की दुकान और प्रफुल्ल के सपनों को एक नई पहचान मिली है। प्रफुल्ल आज इस चाय की दुकान से ही करोड़ों का टर्नओवर कर रहे हैं। आज उनके टीम में कई लोग जुड़े हुए हैं।
