Idk why the thought of Dhawan!Master on the edge of death, desperately (and greedy for power, let’s be real) agreeing to the Toymaker’s challenge makes me sad but it does? I wonder what his last thoughts were before getting stuck in that tooth, and whether the Toymaker chose it to be gold for a reason or if I’m just looking too deep into it. Also, I hope it’s the Rani who picked him just bc I need to know how she’d roast him this time.

AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I am now also sad thinking about that :(( Poor blorbo went through so much :(( I really hope that specifically Dhawan!Master is bought back - I mean he is literally my favourite Doctor who character ever so if they don’t I will be SO sad.

And aaaaa yes!!!! God I hope that was The Rani, that would be SO fun!!!!!!! I want her to be besties with The Master and I want them to cause chaos. I’ve seen a lot of people thinking it could be Missy, and if it is AND we get to see her and Dh!Master at the same time? Yeah I’ll just die of excitement :)

I’ve also seen people theorising that it might be the new character “The Duchess” who was announced on the dw social media in May. Since that also sounds like a Time Lord name and I love random Time Lords showing up to piss off The Doctor - especially if she ends up teaming up with The Master!

I was curious that you made the distinction between a podcast and an audio drama in your last post, because the words are pretty interchangeable for fiction distributed online in a sound-only format, so I was wondering if I was missing something specific in this case?

Well, from my understanding podcasts tend to be more oriented around real people talking about their real life experiences. Often podcasts have a sort of theme/focus to them, but I haven’t actually seen one where it isn’t real people talking about real experiences.

Whereas, audio dramas are fictional. It’s voice actors acting out stories with characters in - which is exactly what this podcast seems like it’s going to be (at least from reading the article).

I think the only reason they’re calling it a podcast is because it’s going to be hosted on BBC sounds. BBC Sounds only seems to have two categories for the content that is on it - music, and podcasts. Clearly, this isn’t going to be music, so they’re just advertising it as a podcast to make it fit with the platform - even though it isn’t actually a podcast in the traditional sense.
