* That addicts would see the dangers involved with their addiction, both for themselves as well as those around them.
* That they would be willing to seek help and not rely on their own strength to break the addiction.
* That demonic strongholds of the addiction would be broken through the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name, and that they would repent and turn their hearts to God.
* That any pleasure, satisfaction, of comfort that is received from the addiction would fade, and that they would find no benefit or help in their addictive behavior any longer.
* That they would find a Spirit-led way to cope with the physical and emotional pain in their life that may be driving them to the addiction. Teach them to turn to you, Lord.
* That loved ones would have the wisdom and patience to minister to the addict.
* That anyone who enables or encourages them to continue in their addiction would be removed from their life.
