→ what COUNTS as an act of violence to sate a death knight's addiction? Does property damage count? Do they have to harm a living thing? Does said living thing have to be sentient? Does there need to be bruising, blood? Or does it vary, and some DKs can get away with punching a pillow or something?

     From what I’ve read, you have to actually HARM a living being. They have to inflict “suffering and/or death,” neither of which are sensations that inanimate objects are capable of feeling.

     Now here, I start doing a bit of headcanoning. 

     Personally, I feel like while you could get away with just going the vampire cop-out of harming creatures of only animal intelligence or so, that wouldn’t be as… nutritional, for lack of a better term. That’s a bread-and-water diet right there. It’ll get the job done, you’ll keep your sanity, but you’re still going to suffer some major Hunger pangs all the bloody time. Plus, you might have to hurt more for the same effect as harming a person, like having to eviscerate a hundred bunnies to get the same base satisfaction as eviscerating a single person. 

     (But seriously, man, this is Azeroth, there’re people out there who deserve evisceration more than those poor bunnies. Unless it’s that Darkmoon asshole rabbit.)

     So harming people is likely the more satisfying, healthier option. You get fed better from it, you feel better from it. And as long as there’s pain, actual pain, you should be good. (Most likely, that pain must be physical, but maybe emotional or mental would be like… cherries on top? I dunno, might depend upon the individual knight.) The severity of their pain might directly correlate with how much of the Hunger you satisfy; a broken arm is a better “meal” than a bruised cheek, for example. 

     Actual killing is probably the most satisfying act of all, akin to… a gourmet meal, maybe, or a feast if you start massacring people. The Scourge’s ultimate goal wasn’t to make people suffer, it was to make them dead (and then not dead). It makes logical sense to me at least that they would twist the death knights up in such a way that the closest they ever get to feeling relief is when someone is gurgling their last breaths out beneath them.

     Noting here because there was nowhere better up above: Masochists probably irritate the fuck out of death knights. It’s not suffering if you like the pain, after all. They’re like the celery of mortality or something.

     It’s a fantastic stat stick for BM ( which is basically all I play ) and it’s wonderful for WPvP. The kiting game is strong and it gives you another heal. Plus in raids it makes life easier for healers. It’s like a comfort legendary, really. But yeah otherwise... I am not too happy, unfortunately.

     Blingtron biggest troll 2k17. Literally. Maybe he’s secretly Vol’jin reincarnate and we don’t realize it yet. But yeah I kind of forgot this kind of thing could happen so I was just sitting there staring in my order hall like, “... wat”.

    Honestly though guys, why this... I’m afraid of what’s coming next or what my first legendary on my palain’s gonna be...

     Her eyes were greeted with the dimness of the Tirisfal forest, the cool air slipping up her hood and delivering a smell most . . . interesting. Absolutely no idea where that slightly inebriated mage had put her, she began to walk in hopes of finding something familiar. But none of it was.

     Well . . . this isn’t Westfall .       . . . Or Duskwood either . . .

     Arriving at what appeared to be a main road, however. . . grimy, she crossed her arms. Well. This is most unfortunate. She’d never been wherever this was, and she had absolutely no idea where to go.       So, she just went. Creeping along the side of the pathway and only occasionally falling under a very scarce lantern (Which she in turn, lit. After all, road safety is gravely important.), she walked. Far-off screeches and odd noises tainted her ears and she wished more than ever that she had a cloak to hide under.       Fifteen minutes into this wandering, she saw a figure walking opposite her on the pathway, and thank the Light, not an intimidating one. Finally! Perhaps they would know where to go. Crossing to block the boy’s path, it wasn’t until she was close, and looked right up at him, that she noticed something was off.

     Shoot. He’s dead.

     Glad now more than ever to be fully covered up, she realized that while yes, it was an unfortunate situation, it was probably also a bit of a dangerous one as well. A small squeak made it’s way through her throat and she froze, staring up at him, realizing that she had found herself in enemy territory.      Oh dear.

unpopular opinions

lgbt representation is important. that goes without saying. however, when a fictional character’s identity becomes more important than an actual, real life person’s feelings && wellbeing, that’s when things are taken too far. why in hell would anyone think it’s okay to send hate or “kys” messages to someone for the sexuality of their muse? it’s not okay. is that character bi when their canon is gay? whatever, block or unfollow them. you don’t need to like it. they’re doing what makes them happy.
