Day Two
Today we went outside and shot videos of our partners. They did fun stuff and we video taped them for about an hour and a half. Then we went inside for lunch because it was raining. After, my partner, Scarlett, and I went to the lab and put our videos together. We cut, edited, and added music. We also finished our projects of an art sculpture on the campus. We presented both projects and for the sculpture project, we did our voice overs. Today, a new student came in. Her name is Anna. She is friends with Hannah! -Jasmin
Today felt rainy and warm while we filmed outdoors. My most exciting part of the day was editing and picking a song for our small iMovie project. My down part of the day was being late to class. Since I was new, I had to have an extra hand with the editing part, but it all ended up being okay. I’m excited to come back tomorrow and see what my day brings me. -Anna
Today we went outside and filmed our partner walking from a certain point to another point. Later we went inside to the computer lab and edited our films. Then, we ate lunch and after that we went back to the computer lab and finished our projects we did yesterday and today. Next we presented our projects. My second one didn’t have music when I actually put EPIC music in it, but basically I had a fun time. I can’t wait for tomorrow! -Lita
Today was really fun because we got to make a film about someone going on an adventure! My partner was Lita and it was a fun experience with her! The challenging part about today as trying not to make the film so long. Another thing I enjoyed about today as when we got to edit the film we made. I really enjoyed today! :) -Becky
Three things that I liked about class today was when I got to shoot people walking from point A to point B, I got to edit my partner’s videos and add music, and I got to watch other people’s videos and see how they did. Three things that were challenging when I was in class was when I had trouble with editing my videos, I had trouble saving my work on my flash drive, and I had computer issues. -Jaylen
One thing that was really exciting about today was when we got to shoot outside, and I thought it was a little bit more fun then yesterday because we got to pair up into teams and film each other instead of filming a stature. One thing that was challenging for me was the steadiness of my camera because today we had some problems with the tripod. Like at first my camera wouldn’t fit with the tripod and we had to get another tripod. -Naomi
Today we did several things. When we arrived, we took shots using a tripod on a partner. We walked through the frame and did this on several aspects on campus. Then we went to the computer lab and edited our partner’s walks. Then we watched each other’s vimeos from yesterday. Then we added music to the walking shots. I liked that we were able to take our videos anywhere, and I liked that we used tripods. -Amav
Today we did partner projects. During this time period, we were able to take 5 shots of our partner. After lunch, we went to the computer lab to present, and work on our projects. When we were working, we got the chance to add music. Today we also had to use tripods. For me it was a little tricky at first, but I caught on quickly. My video was much steadier. -Scarlett
Today was a pretty good day. For starters, my friend Anna joined the camp and we even got to learn new filming techniques, and then lunch is always a plus. -Hannah
Today we took videos of our partner walking, running, and even jumping and spinning. After we trimmed our videos, we made it into a movie and added music and special effects. We also watched each other’s movies from yesterday and today. It was so much fun. After that, we gave each other feedback and advice. Tomorrow I will write more about my day. -Gia
