(Context: I personally think that soras dad goes missing between bbs and the start of 1, particularly after Kairi arrives)

But anyway Riku and Kairi driving off the school bullies after sora loses his dad.

Also Riku breaking a kids nose after they blame Kairi for it (this is not the first time they’ve started a fight over this)

Wakka tidus and selphie can be present (or not) as u see fit. Maybe this is when the six of them become friends?? Tidus connecting with sora over their lost parents??? Wakka trying to mediate??? Selphie causing additional chaos????

Also just a little bit of warmth coming from ven, who’s usually quiet, and has a similar, and stil recent, memory of loss in his own heart

Before everything happened... six children grew up together on Destiny Islands unknowning of what was about to happen in their future...

Tonight however one of these six were awake...

Nightmares

Vor shivered and pulled her blanket closer around her body as she walked down the beach of Destiny Islands. She had taken Hermod's boat out to the small island where all her friends played and was letting the water lap at her feet. The young girl had woken up from a nightmare and had decided to go out to clear her head. That was how Vor got to standing on the beach.

With a sigh, Vor sat down, paying no mind to her blanket which was now in the wet sand as she buried her face in her arms. She sat there in silence for a few moments, her mind drifting with the sound of the ocean. She wanted to forget about her nightmare.

It was the sound of crunching footsteps on sand which brought her back.

Things were far different than what they once were. The master was gone, cast into the darkness and the newly formed nobodies were under his control. Things were progressing well... As well as they could be at least.

One of the recruits however was causing problems. This really would need to be fixed, he didn't want others following such an example. It would only cause bigger issues down the road but the question was how to nip this problem in the bud before it grew.
