6 months ago seems like forever but at the time 6 months ahead seemed like it was going to fly by...and that's exactly what it did.

It feels like only yesterday that it was February and that I was learning I would be attending Rhema Bible Training College in the fall.  Don't blink, they say. Well, now its August.

In 21 days I embark on a journey. A journey of 940 miles that will take me from my home in Michigan to a new home in Oklahoma. It's on this journey that I will leave everything I know, all my comforts, everything I've ever known for 21 years, to embark on a journey only God could call me on. It's on this journey that I will learn more about Him and what He has called me to do. It's on this journey of preparation that I will grow in ways that I cannot even imagine right now. And its for this journey that I am ready. 

Preparation time is never wasted time.

21 days until moving day. 32 days until the first day of class.

Have faith like a child, know what it is you want, and go to your Daddy in prayer, asking & believing that He is faithful and He will provide. What are you praying and believing for? Are you going to God boldly, believing that it WILL come to pass or are you hesitant? We all love countdowns. We countdown until our birthday, Christmas, when we get to see our best friend next, or how much longer we have to work. Regardless of what it is, there is constantly a countdown in our heads and on our hearts. Yet, sometimes, those same countdowns we are looking forward to, cause us to freak out or worry. But God has a plan. And even though whenever I hear a countdown, I may freak out, I know that God is in complete control, and whether there is 2 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years left until this big event, that God has given me more than enough time to get ready.  Preparation time is never wasted time. And He is preparing me for such a time as this.
