DC Comics reader: Canon this, Canon that, blah, blah, blah.
The average (Chad) DC fandom enjoyer: hmm yes, that's all very fascinating now tell me do you mean the Canon where Batman made Dick eat rats? Or the one where he was in juvie before Bruce took him in? Or the one where Jason was a circus acrobat and blonde? Or the one where Alfred was an aspiring actor? Or maybe the one where Bruce's largest fear was losing Jason and him dying? Or maybe the one where he beat Jason half to death and called him a failure? Oooooh, or maybe when he broke his no kill rule to KILL Jason and save the Joker? What about the Canon where he sacrificed his life to beat Darkseid? Or the Canon where they forget there are many people living in League Bases and then have Red Robin blow it up? Or maybe the Canon where Talia raped Bruce? Or the one where they were in a loving relationship and she faked Damian's miscarriage? Maybe a different Canon, how about the one where Dick calls Bruce dad and Bruce says he's proud of him? Or the one where Bruce is protective of Cass and her feelings? Or maybe the one where he actively gets in the way of Babs trying to give her a normal life? Or roll it back, how about the Canon where Dick actively resents Bruce and has more than once been punched by him for no actually logical reason(80s and beyond)? Are you talking about post crisis? Rebirth? NEw 52? Elseworlds?
DC Comics reader: oh well, I only read this run and that run because I don't like this author and they ignore this piece of comics because it's not in line with the Batman book they're writing.
DC fandom enjoyer(Still a Chad): And that is different from how I enjoy my Batman/Batfam?
DC Comics reader: well you like wfa, so OBVIOUSLY you don't like the right Batman/Batfam books.
DC fandom enjoyer Chadly: the block button is your friend.
