During Convergence, Pre-Zero Hour!Kyle would occasionally play Pokémon with his version of Hal. Even after the dome fell, Hal still comes by Kyle's place (often in full Parallax armor to boot,) and the two will battle each other. (Kyle has good Pokémon and is very good at the games, but Hal has both strategy and the Creation Dragon Trio-Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina-on his side. It's a surprisingly even match-up.)
