Taskmaster s18e08
Long runabout or shuttle trips are stressful experiences. There are some things you can do to make them more survivable, though. Wear comfortable clothing with multiple layers on your sitting portions. Bring some PADDs with fiction AND non-fiction loaded onto them (you will get bored of one of them halfway through). If you have someone you know, traveling together is better than alone. If you’re on a shuttle, bring snacks and a drink; replicators on shuttles are way worse than replicators on runabouts. The fewer bags the better. Daydreaming is a wonderful way to pass the time, but don’t spend too long looking out at the stars. You’ll get a crick in your neck. Get up and stretch once in a while. It really helps.
And please, please don’t travel from DS9 to Bajor and back in one day if you can help it. Three hours per trip makes it sound like eight hours on Bajor will be worth it. It isn’t.
When you said ‘ride’ this was not what I expected

Not all the metal of DS9 is polished and perfect. The wall sheets are warped. The rails on the Promenade are smooth, but the bars that hold them up were carelessly sheared; they have shattered, shredded lines of metal spikes that can rip even Starfleet uniforms if you snag yourself on them. Similarly, if you take a tumble in the Habitat Ring, try to land your relevant body part(s) in the more forgiving middle of the floor, not the sides, where the metal is scratchy and can shred all but the toughest scale- or fur-protected flesh.
I’ve heard that the walls in Ops were the only truly flawless pieces of metalwork on the station for a time. Now they’re covered in tiny abrasions, scratches, dents, drips from former melting, and so on.
The senior staff doesn’t let anyone touch those walls.
i’ve banned myself from music so i stop spiraling
No one really kept track of the sisters’ comings and goings, of course, not even the Ajahs. Custom ruled everyone, and custom strongly discouraged direct questions about what a sister was doing or where she was going. (CoT, ch. 17)
... Because if she told you, you'd be an accomplice.
