Almost 20 Years and It's Still Solid- Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy...
A mark of a great hero does not always begin the same. Sometimes it takes a simple act of disobedience. The Jak & Daxter Review is up now!

For being a series pretty centric on the horrors of human experimentation and the things victims of science have to go through, there are woefully few mad scientists in the Jak games. As in, there's one. I love him, but the series could definitely stand to have some more mad scientist representation.
That said, while Gol Acheron is only in one of the games in the mainline series, I love how integral he is to everything from major plot points (the Dark Warrior Program was almost certainly based on research recovered from Gol and Maia, it's the only thing that makes sense) to character design (Renegade!Jak looks startlingly similar to how Gol probably did before he degraded, I'm just saying), and I wish we'd gotten more from him. I heard once that he and Maia were supposed to come back in the third game, but the plot point was cut? Bummer!
TLDR: Gol is important and great and would probably be thrilled to know that, in the end, the world was reshaped by Dark Eco after all.
