If Jamie never died when he was young, then how was he a ghost in his younger years, before he even met Claire in his time? Why was there a wanted poster of Jamie at the police station? I have not read any of the books. I didn’t see blue light while Claire healed Jamie. Were they lying on traveling standing stones? Did they wake up, alive, in the same time period Jamie died in? The past? Future? How did people think Claire was the white witch of legend before she became her? Why didn’t Claire try to travel back in time to try and find out more about Faith? Not to tell her she was her mother, but to see how her life was so she could tell Jamie? Have these people been dying and coming back to life repeatedly in different eras? Like the movie “Predestination?” When is a 4 hour long movie coming out? Spinoffs? No series ever left me with so many questions! Can the author of the books and everyone involved in this series just contact me directly and explain it to me like I’m five?

It fucking baffles and infuriates me how some people just fucking HATE people who have faiths or believe in a higher power

Not judging or mocking but just an adamant ‘no, you’re just insane’

That’s so insulting? That’s so emasculating? Treating belief like psychosis? Have you no respect? What if that’s the only thing keeping them going? What if it is a core aspect of your being? Just because it doesn’t fit your worldview?

I’m not even religious. I don’t know what I believe. I don’t want to label it. But I am minoring in Religious Studies, and there’s a reason that ‘Phenomenological’ is one of the 7 dimensions of religion

Wait, while it's Off Topic Tuesday for a few more hours, I want to recommend one of my all time favorite movies, and one I think Tumblr would like but honestly sleeps on.

It's called Predestination, and it's a sci-fi movie from 2014. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much more than this, because it's best to go into this movie as blind as possible. The less you know about the plot, the better the experience will be watching it. You just have to put your faith in me and watch this movie. Trust me.

I can at least tell you that there's no sexual assault or domestic violence, so you don't have to worry about those triggers if you're someone who needs to know a bit about a movie for those reasons. If there are any other triggers you're worried about you can ask me, and I'll try to answer it discreetly without giving away any of the plot.

I know some people think that worrying about spoilers is dumb and childish, and maybe that's the case for some media, but I cannot emphasize enough that this is something that's best to go into knowing as little about the plot as possible. You deserve to have your mind blown by the twists it has to offer.
