I’ve only been actively listening to vkei and participating in the community for a couple of months, but I the amount of straight up larpers I see online makes me feel better about my credibility as a fan even though I’m new.

There’s people that are straight up disrespectful and pushes the boundaries of bandmen constantly. It’s not hard to be respectful ya know?

I might not know everything. I obviously don’t. But I’m actively trying to learn about vkei and interact with the community because to me it’s fun! How is it not fun to others? Are you genuinely just into vkei for the aesthetics of it? or are you too lazy to do any research?

Been thinking about this for weeks now about the movie Now You See Me Now You Don’t where it’s all “eat the rich”. Then has several scenes set in Dubai. It’s just the selective performance of exploitive labor (acknowledging blood diamonds) ignoring a city currently maintained by kidnapped slaves and genocide. It’s really strong propaganda fueled by money defeats the point of the already empty movie.
