Real Now
Things have been busy lately. However, I managed to do all of my economics homework last night, as well as a quiz this morning while at work. Thankfully I don’t have anything going on this weekend so I can finish my economics ahead of time. Also thankful for a day off on Friday!
Today I talked with my boss about Berkeley’s opto school. I really don’t think I can get in, but after viewing their own stats instead of those on studentdoctor, I feel more confident that I can reach at least finishing their application, requirements, and hopefully better than average OAT scores.
Bio at my JC is definitely an A. Econ is definitely an A. I’m just hoping my last score on my physiopsych was at least a B? I need an A. All those calculations I’ve done reflect 60+ units of A’s only to raise my GPA. So far I’ve knocked out 10 of those units, I’m nearing 13, and if I do well in physiopsych I can get 16 knocked out. Followed by 6 more for the rest of summer, leaving me with only 38 more!
Please let me go to school and do well in August. I don’t know how to tell my work about this. Gotta survive, graduate, and do well. Shit is real now.
The Will.
Here’s the deal.
I’m a senior who is 3 classes away from a Bachelor’s degree.
I failed a few core science classes. This was my own fault.
I’m not going to give up my dream. I will become an optometrist.
Join my journey as I take my GPA from a 2 point NO to something much higher. I will become an optometrist.
I really will.
Family Reveal!

Join us tomorrow for Illinois College of Optometry's Presentation!
Thank you everyone who came out to talk to us at the HPM3 Pre-Health Club fair! Tomorrow's presentation would be a great opportunity to hear a little about optometry as a career, talk to pre-optometrists in the club, and pay membership dues to become eligible for the Insight Mentor/Mentee Family program!
See you tomorrow! :)
