Thank you! You too! I ended up writing you some asoryuu in the read below. It's just some holiday fluff.

Kazuma and Ryunosuke are huddled close on the bed with Ryunosuke resting his head on Kazuma's chest. There's two blankets and a thick comforter on top of them. It would be the perfect time to nap if Kazuma would stop moving his left hand to flip the page of the book he's reading.

Ryunosuke would normally look up to see what his partner is reading, but he's so comfortable. If he moves, surely the heat will escape.

The last few days have been freezing. It's been below zero and the weather has been nipping on his fingertips and nose. He's decided to handle this issue with a thick comforter and has convinced Kazuma to cuddle with him. He hadn't expected how warm it would be. As soon as Kazuma joined, his mind relaxed and he rested his eyes.

It's so warm...

He has caught himself occasionally snoozing off already, but he's fighting to stay awake. Tonight's Christmas, and Iris will be furious if they sleep through the festivities.

It's a small moment, but as Kazuma's right hand moves down to rub Ryunosuke's back, its a gentle reminder of his partner showing affection.

"Ryunosuke?"

"Mm?"

"Are you falling asleep on me?"

"Maybe." Ryunosuke mumbles, nuzzling his head in closer.

"Come now, we don't want to fall asleep before Iris's feast." Kazuma gently nudges his head. "We probably should get up then."

"Three minutes."

Kazuma exhales, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "Fine. Three minutes. I'll wake you up then."

"Thank you." Ryunosuke groggily moves his head closer as Kazuma wraps his arm around him.

What a perfect day...

The slip of paper with the written question was left upon a table. Stared at for a time.

Small blossoms of forget-me-nots began to sprout around the druid's ankles, vines intertwining as fingers gently caressed against the budding life.

"A beautiful intertwining of the threads fate sews...A chance meeting that cultivated the true meaning of finding a piece of yourself within another, and all that it brought. Even through near-death...it blossomed." Her fingers swayed as her hand went to rest limply at her side. Red poppies began to grow then...accented by deep indigo flowers. They were watered with glistening tears upon a face of melancholy.

"Now...I fear that it has cracked, much like bark against a weathered storm. No matter the warmth or love within to be offered...it is not wanted. I...have been left to untangle my own thread, it seems..." -------

It is not the best of times!
