I love serial experiments Lain because on one hand it's an absolutely haunting analysis of what happens to ourselves socially as we move closer and closer to living in the shadow of a godlike technological panopticon and the role that plays on the nature of what's considered truth,propaganda, and reality all separately but then you watch an episode and it's literally like
