7. How/why I came up with the concept for them
At first, I just picked the race that had the best starting stats for a mage and I (almost) always play as a mage. Her looks like... hm... I think I played a lot with Caliente household in TS2 around that time, so hello, Nina Caliente's elf cousin.
Then,when I realized I accidentally chose the back story that make the character face the biggest possible mix of oppression and prejudice, I thought of a person who - in her own eyes - steps out of the static picture of social mechanism by joining half-mythical Grey Wardens and is not going to be dragged back into that swamp. Then, she uses all ways known to her to assure she will never be anyone's subject and that she can use that gained power to help causes that matter to her - like elves well-being of more freedom in magic research.

It is known that Master of House Telvanni Ellyssa the Headless had been an alchemist in Cheydinhal for 5 years before she got arrested for selling illegal levitation potion and getting exalted to Morrowind. She also claims that once she was being married to a Dark Brotherhood assassin who was uncovered as a smith, that she's actually not a Breton but a Foresworn, and that once she killed a troll just with a broken bottle, a few drops of poison and a good fortify velocity spell. Sometimes she mentions she once killed an assassin who claimed to be Nerevar Incarnated and tried to prove it with a pretty ring.
She has a lot of stories and it's not hard to notice all of them are told like lies.

Once upon a time my friend received a cookbook with 200 muffins recipes and she started sharing the most extravagant ones with me. Among them was a recipe for unsweet muffins with ham, cheese, herbs and garlic. This is the best thing I am able to bake, 3 muffins are enough as a dinner substitute and damn it it's delicious
