.:YEAR ONE:. 👑 🖤 Today makes one year post-op for top surgery. Doesn’t seem that long ago but then again it does. You can’t tell me this isn’t the chest I’ve had all my life. And although my scars aren’t ideal, they are mine and I’d rather have them than not have had surgery. I was miserable right after surgery and there was a series of unfortunate events that followed and “I may be poor, Black, May even be ugly but Dear God, I’m here. I’m here!” 😂 Surgery not only allowed me to feel more comfortable in my body but it made me feel more comfortable walking out into the world. Also, it upped my thirst trap game 👌🏾😜😂! So I’d say I’m winning. 2/9/17 was a blessing that I am so grateful for! Also, I’m so thankful for all those who helped and supported me, especially my mom because without her help I don’t know what I would have done.
