Something just occurred to me (Mdzs). Wei Wuxian comments several times on Lan Wangji wearing white and associating it with funeral/mourning clothes. Lan Wangji is the loner goth kid who most people are afraid of. Granted, this is not a perfect one-to-one comparison, but it's so funny to think about. Especially because western culture would label Wei Wuxian as goth (wears black all the time, associates with death, born on Halloween). When looking at them during the Cloud Recesses Study arc, Lan Wangji would be seen as the dour, unapproachable, eerily quiet one who dresses in mourning whites, and is therefore (the equivalent of) goth. Wei Wuxian is the bubbly, sociable one who befriends him against all odds.

Being simultaneously a Phannie and a Stay has become a lot more complicated.

I went on twitter the other day and saw this:

and I was confused because I know this Richard (from Dan and Phil's Hard Launch podcast) uses he/she pronouns

Color me surprised when I scroll to see the rest of the tweet

and find out that Han Jisung (from Stray Kids) adopted a crested gecko named Richard, who is apparently a girl.

If I had a nickel for every time a fandom I'm in introduced a non-human Richard who uses a she pronoun, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
