Ships with Price in general are my favorite. Mostly with Nik or Graves because they have the most entertaining dynamic. So basically NikPriceGraves is my fav

You know I've been thinking all day while at Esports so here's some rambles on Graves. Also cause it's FUCKING COLD AND I HATE IT >:(

So Graves is used to the heat, coming from the south. He can be fine in like 90° weather (Fahrenheit cause I dunno Celsius) but the moment it's like 30° something he's pissed. He hates the cold and he hates the winter, he's also a cold boy (you cannot tell me he would not be cold all the time for no fucking reason). So being in England and where else SUCKS! He hates it, but Price and Nik are big giant heaters so he enjoys being around them when it's extra cold.
I can see him slipping in one of their hoodies while they are wearing them. So he stays warm. He also has like 15 coats but steals theirs instead of wearing his own.
I also see a couple of Shadows making fun of him for wearing three coats when it's cold, but he doesn't care.
I see him also owning those giant fuzzy socks people have (yes I am one of them, they are da best) to wear so his feet or warm. He can't wear em while he's got shoes on unless he's wearing some big boots.

Graves is almost always dressed like he’s ready to work. The worn button up shirt, well worn work jeans, boots that have definitely seen better days. Price wasn’t sure if he’s ever seen Graves dress up for any occasion… until now.
Well fitted slacks, a deep blue. Black dress shirt with a black tie. The jacket that is meant to accompany the rest of the outfit had been abandoned early on that night on the back of his chair. Price had never seen Graves dressed up like this but it felt right. Like Graves was made for this kind of life rather than the one he chose.
He looked good and everyone knew that, especially him.
“Been staring, captain.”
Price could hear the tease on Graves words, see the matching smirk. He’d normally be bothered, annoyed. But right now with Scotch heavy in his stomach and head, he’s having a hard time keeping up the facade of not finding Graves attractive.
“Hard not to.”
Graves grins, “Nik’s been talking about slipping away later. Getting some food. You in?”
He had been on the sidelines, watching Nik have he fun with Graves. He’s always been tempted to stop caring and follow suit. Nik has been saying he should since day one and Graves has been dropping offers shortly after Nik and him started getting close.
Price was done keeping away.
“I would be a fool to say no.”
Graves’ eyes light up, some smart comment ready to launch out of his lips. But it never came because, for once, Price left him speechless.

Like I had a plot sort of. But then the trailers and shit dropped a couple weeks ago. And the Zaya Observatory mission. And my brain has more ideas. But... not enough information to really base the plot around the beginning of MWIII...

In short. I'm in emotional pain.
I like going about my own canon when I write something moments before a new piece of media comes out. I incorporate what I do know about the new media but don’t focus on the fact the story is most definitely not going to line up.
Though that’s me and I understand your struggle. Though I slap my own can on aggressively into my fics or make up scenarios where they have to interact because dammit, canon will NOT get in the way of this!
