It's Nikolai who notices it; John will grant himself the freedom of his ignorance only once because he was too busy with his hand on Graves' cock to pick up on it.

Phillip Graves loves having his wrists tied up, whether to escape the binds when his partner's attention is redirected or to make a show of tugging on them and pretending to struggle.

But when his ankles are also bound, he gets whiny. Not in the feigned, brat-like attention-seeking way, but in the denied the ability to squirm in an attempt to force his own pleasure sort of way.

He can't draw a knee up on the mattress and grind his hips up against the man bracketing them with his thighs in a way that succeeds with any sort of rhythm. He can only lie there and endure.

It's well seen that Nikolai is a sick bastard; the pilot gets off on watching John torture Graves with the smallest little bounce of his hips more than he enjoys doing it himself.

Graves on a boat fishing for lobsters because he woke up and decided that he needs a good ol' seafood boil but he is NOT buying his lobbies from the shop. No. For some reason he is entirely convinced he needs them fresh off the docks. Only the freshest for him and his hubs.

He, for some reason, drags Gaz along. Gaz is weirdly alright with being dragged out to go fishing for lobs. Ghost and Soap were left home and NOT notified about this trip at all. They get no lobster time.

Now, reasonably speaking lobsters are caught in traps that are left for a few days. For Graves purpose and Graves purposes only, he is somehow doing this in a few hours. Gaz is not questioning the methods used here.

Price and Nikolai come back to Graves in the middle of making the seafood boil. They are forced to wait despite the smell of food. They will get smacked by the spatula if they try to touch anything. Price sees a single boiled egg and tries to eat it without Graves noticing.

Graves notices. Price is awarded zero eggs.

The seafood boil is delicious. Gaz gets his own plate for doing a great job in assisting in lobster fishing.

(Gaz however has to ignore the aggressive slurping noises coming from Graves who is maintaining eye contact with Price and Nikolai)

Nikprice x Graves is steady romance with heavy flirting, along with redemption .

Ghoap x Graves is begrudgingly acceptance and slow redemption and ever slower romance.

Alerudy x Graves is starting with pure physical attraction and hatred, no redemption and no remorse, with a chuck of toxicity, then 3/4 in maybe a speck of romance if any. ‘I will fuck as much as I want and then i’m hunting you for sport then skin you alive’ mixed ‘missionary so we can continuing arguing’ personified. Literally so much tension that if it had a physical form they would choke each other out with it. With Alejandro and Rodolfo, it’s nice and sweet with each other meetings are done, there’s peace…but when Phillip enters a room?

Arguments. Loud arguments that can last for hours and they end up not even knowing what they were arguing about in the first place. Snide remarks and curses left and right. A right hook on a good day, full on fighting on ground: punches, kicks, everything on a normal day, on the bad… no one likes to talk about it. At the end of the day (sometimes in the middle), they’re dragging him out and they’re probably not gonna be seen for atleast another 30 mins, no one knows if they’re fighting or fucking (most are pretty sure of both).

Nikolai: He felt unsafe.

Soap: Well now i feel unsafe.

*Gaz goes to Nik*

Gaz: where's Price?

Nik: I don't know. Ask Graves.

Gaz: I just asked him. He said to ask you.

Gaz, internally: god, they're acting like dads

Price, coming out of bathroom: hey guys. Uh, where's Graves?

Nik: ask Gaz. He was just talking to him.

Gaz: I don't know. Ask Nik.

Nik: You bastard-

Gaz: HAH! REVENGE!

Nik: GARRICK YOU TELL HIM WHERE GRAVES IS BEFORE I SKIN YOU

Gaz: NEVER! HE'LL HAVE TO ASK YOU!

Price: the fuck- it's 10 in the morning-

i love post-betrayal graves as nik and price’s evil side piece, it heals me to be able to beat phil to death with miserable and terrible horrors and then giving him two huge bears to heal him. it brings me unimaginable and incomprehensible joy.
