Exclusive: Prima Vera Announces New EP, Streams New Single

Detroit indie powerhouse, Prima Vera, announced the release of their sophomore EP, Floral Media, due out February 9, 2015. On top of the new, three-track EP, the band is premiering the first single, “Old TV’s and Memories,” which you can stream exclusively below.

The EP was recorded at Zoinga Recording Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan in the late fall of 2015. It was produced, mixed and mastered by Mick Maslowski

Before today, Prima Vera has been the solo project on Detroit musician Bryan H. Iglesias. Now, John Kick (Still Strong, Kisses for Charity) will be taking over on drums and Brendan Crocker (Yours Truly) on bass.

This announcements keeps getting bigger.

Prima Vera also announced their EP release show. The event will be at the Majestic Café in the band’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan on February 12th. The show will be brought to you by Urban Geographer and also features Woven Tangles, Hot Mulligan, A Year in New York and The Native Age.
