SEASON : SPRING

Was looking up poetry on the subject of Spring to share. It’s windy, these days.

I found Christina Rossetti’s poem ‘Who Has Seen the Wind’?

Discovered a little bit about Rossetti. She composed her first poem before she could write. She dictated to her mother.

Then a friend mentioned that Yoko Ono had recorded a piece of music on this very poem. She added some words and set it to music.

So my first day was quite successful.

Found the school no worries! 

It's a tiny little village school, only a one form entry and literally seven classes from R to Y6, so a massive difference to any school I've ever been a part of. The surroundings are so quaint - it's such a beautiful little village. 

My mentor seems lovely, the class are a class of 30, 21 girls and 9 boys - and they are extremely loud, but seem to be good kids overall. To say I'm tired is an understatement, but I'm super excited for whatever the next 9 weeks have in store for me!
