i work during Prime Week

As someone who works during Prime Week at a certain warehouse, a casual reminder to think and be kind to the pickers/packers who have to bust their ass for many in the ever-increasing growing demand of customer satisfaction and goods. Many of us, myself included, will be working 5 days straight with a 12 hour shift. Those who never work a warehouse job, let alone one with a 12+ hour a day shift, will never understand the amount of sacrifices that goes into play here.  

We will be exhausted, tired, stressed, pressured, and ready to go home. I ended up getting a job here during a pandemic and the pressure for a lot of us is still there, especially with maintaining social distancing. For many, this is just intensive workout days and sacrifices, suffering, and injuries that goes out is something that should not be ignored, let alone look over because a discount bag of bread is more important than someone walking 28+ football fields with carpet tunnel.
