DNF: Primer (comic book)

Ashley is the daughter of a criminal and a victim of the foster care system, which threatens to leave her with boring families. But her luck turns when her newest family turns out to have an artist of a father, and a mother with some very special paints.

This book is very charming, very colorful and fun. I knew it was a kids' book when I got into it, but by the end of the second chapter it was very clear there was very little in it for adults. So to that end: it's fun, give it a read. There's even a sequel out if you want more.
