Danish painter, Ejler Bille (March 6, 1910 - 2004) was associated with several Danish and international artists’ groups throughout his long career, including Corner, Linien, CoBrA, Høstudstillingen 1938-50, and Den Frie Udstilling.

His art is inspired by mythologies and fantastic beings, for instance inspired by Balinese art and stories.

Gustaf Munch-Petersen (Feb. 18, 1912 -1938) was a Danish Surrealist poet and artist. He was a political left-winger and volunteered to fight in the Spanish Civil War, where he was killed.

He poetry has long been celebrated in Denmark due to the 5 small collections that appeared in his life-time, and several posthumous volumes of selected works.

Lately his art has also been revalued and appreciated, and he takes his place among contemporaries such as Ejler Bille, Richard Mortensen and Asger Jorn.

Roger Simonsson is a Swedish artist and print-maker. He is 70 today.

His art is postmodern and primitivist. He often refers to rock music and the counterculture, as for instance in this canvas, Hippiepoet (no year)
