Been working on some Pokémon crossover AU ideas for all my stories lately, mostly starting out as just team ideas for my characters before I thought about how they would fit into the world of Pokémon. Since the Hue Shifters characters here come from a more “fantasy” setting(though it is modern/contemporary fantasy), it has been an interesting challenge trying to translate them into the world, but the biggest challenge was because they are all supernatural creatures/monsters themselves. I tried looking up to see if they exist in the Pokémon world but I couldn't really find anything, so I just omitted that information for the moment and tried my best to still make them fit in the world. If that all makes sense!
One extra detail about this AU in particular, but I decided to give Coral, Saffron, and Primrose all one bat Pokémon each, since they are all vampires and it was just fitting.
. On his team he has Sawsbuck, Stantler, Bellossom, Shiftry, Lilligant, and Gogoat
. One day when he was a kid he followed his sisters into the woods on a search for new Pokémon, but soon an accident happens that causes him to not only get separated from them, but have him eventually wake up in a new location with little memories of the event
. He has spent the rest of his life since then scouring the depths of each region, hoping to find his sisters again
- Azure
. Works primarily with psychic types, but does work with some water types due to growing up near the ocean
. On his team he has Primarina, Bruxish, Malamar, Espeon, Medicham, and Overqwil
. Grew up in a very big and dysfunctional family that made him all the eager to get out and travel as soon as he could
. Starts off battling and making many rivals, before eventually becoming a successful coordinator and model, seemingly doing a lot better in life now(though he still feels like something is missing in his life)
- Coral
. Works with a few types, but primarily enjoys dark and flying types
. On her team she has Gliscor, Raticate, Murkrow, Mandibuzz, Grimmsnarl, and Hitmonchan
. Second-born daughter to a powerful crime syndicate, growing up she always felt overshadowed by her older sister
. Due to feeling like she doesn’t quite fit in with her family and being seen as an ‘outcast’ by her peers in the community she grew up in, when she was old enough she abdicated her role in her family’s organization to instead focus on battling and becoming a champion
- Maris
. Works primarily with water types
. On her team she has Wartortle, Golduck, Omastar, Cloyster, Kingler, and Milotic
. Started off as a researcher before getting interested in journalism
. Often goes undercover to investigate the larger crime teams of the world, planning to use her findings to not only alert the public, but hopefully get the more powerful ones taken down
- Saffron
. Works primarily with fire/fighting types
. On his team he has Golbat, Emboar, Infernape, Skeledirge, Ninetales, and Scrafty
. Doesn’t have any super big aspirations in life, mostly just plays video games and do fun and cute internet things with his ‘mons
. Cousin to Coral, becomes more interested in participating in actual battles thanks to her influence
- Marigold
. Works primarily with fairy types
. On her team she has Florges, Dedenne, Ribombee, Hattrem, Beautifly, and Vespiquen
. Comes from a very rich and powerful family, had a lot of pressure put on her to succeed which caused her to run away one day, where she then bumps into some older kids with “scary” Pokémon that thought it would be funny to rough her up a bit(this is where she gets her scar)
. After that she wanted to build up her physical combat and Pokémon battling skills to ensure it wouldn’t happen again, but her true interests lie with modelling
- Gracen
. Works primarily with rock types
. On his team he has Onix, Golem, Rhyperior, Marowak, Excadrill, and Golurk
. Second-born son of a rich but humble family, he never stood out much compared to his ‘flashier’ and more successful brother, but doesn’t mind as he prefers staying out of the spotlight
. Had a close relationship/crush situation with his childhood best friend Amethyst, but after she goes missing one day he becomes a lot more withdrawn as he feels a part of him is now missing
- Primrose
. Works primarily with poison types
. On her team she has Swoobat, Venomoth, Seviper, Sneasler, Salazzle, and Drapion
. Eldest daughter to a powerful crime syndicate, has been chosen since she was young to become the next leader someday
. Always charismatic and well-liked, she has won numerous contests and showcases but she is also a strong trainer in her own right too, as she was expected to become strong at Pokémon battles to help ensure no one can threaten her family’s business
Primrose is the older sister to Coral, as well as the eldest daughter of the powerful Rogue vampire clan. Charismatic and alluring since she was young, it always seemed like things came easily to her in life. As she was raised to be a potential leader for their clan someday, she knows how to command a room and choose just the right words to get people to follow her lead. Having been such a well-behaved child in her parents eyes as well as bearing a striking resemble to their clan’s matriarch, Primrose has always been seen as the “favorite” even after her sister was born, who was always more of a problem child in comparison. Being the more well-liked of the sisters in not just their family but also their community, she often used that fact to her advantage, causing a rift to happen between the two. She does not actually hate her sister or anything, but from being six years older her and raised a bit differently, she can not help but act like a bossy and condescending know-it-all at times around her and offer her opinions even when they are not wanted. Knowing how to capture other people’s attention, Primrose has taken to the partying lifestyle and acting as a little socialite amongst her peers and society, knowing how to mingle and make connections with anybody. She also makes a small living from being a part-time actress and lingerie model, while also having a bit of followers on social media, where she likes to post more bold, glam, and fancy makeup looks. Ironically though, her day-to-day makeup look is quite light and simple in comparison.

Since the last/only time I drew her before was her bio ref in 2022, for those who may not remember, she is Coral's older sister! Heiress to the powerful Rogue vampire clan, she is very charismatic and alluring, knowing how to command a room and capture other people's attention. Since she was always deemed the more well-behaved and "favorite" of the family and community, she often used that to her advantage against her sister. Not that she hates her sister or anything like that, but from being six years older and raised differently, sometimes she can't help but act like a bossy and condescending know-it-all around her, which has caused a rift between the two that they are still slowly trying to break. A great networker, she has taken to the partying lifestyle and acting as a socialite amongst her peers and society, but she makes her true living from being a lingerie model and part-time actress, with a somewhat big social media following on her glam makeup looks account.
I'm not sure if I see her currently having a romantic partner or not, but I can see her as someone who has enjoyed many casual and a few serious lovers over the years. She knows she's attractive, and likes to have fun with other attractive people when she can.
It was really fun to get to draw her again, particularly for her pretty gradient hair and giving her a little more jewelry(plus, a little peak of her primroses tattoo and her naturally long, sharp nails)! :3 I hope you enjoy! ❤️
Yesterday I decided to make the side characters in this picrew, since I made Hyacinth's Group in it a few months ago!
Did my best to make these three in it! There wasn't any options for tattoos or scars that fit Marigold's so I had to leave those out, and couldn't get her or Gracen's exact wings, but I do still like how they all came out!
Made these the other day with the Picrew, since I wanted to try my hand at making the other characters I’ve introduced so far with it. I think Gracen came out the best here, though the ears and wings could be changed slightly. Marigold and Primrose’s skin tones are darker in actuality, but this was the closest one that was not too light or dark. I still had fun trying to make all of them, though!
. Appearance: average if slightly tall height with a curvy hourglass figure, long and wavy hair that starts as a dark pink fading into a lighter pink in an ombre style, tan skin, deep pink slit-pupiled eyes, pointy ears, two small protruding fangs

Piercing Refs: Primrose Rogue, Marigold Spera, and Gracen Farran
After doing the one for Hyacinth’s group previously, here is the one for the side characters! These include Primrose, Marigold, and Gracen! Not included is Bruno or Erwyn, since I still need to finalize their designs and bios before I think about those(though, I know Bruno probably wouldn’t have any piercings), and Omaira(weetdevil115′s character), as she does not have any piercings herself. But yeah, I hope you enjoy!
. Primrose has several piercings much like Coral, though she also has some in different parts of her body than just her ears/face like her sister
. For her ears, she has triple lobes, a flat, and a daith for each ear
. She also has a couple facial piercings, including a hoop for her left nostril and a philtrum
. Her last piercings are for her nips and her navel
. For all her jewelry she likes to keep them fairly simple on a daily basis, though they are mostly all diamonds, with some flower motifs added in at times
. Has considered other piercings before, two ideas including her tongue or labret, but she is fine with the piercings she has now
- Marigold
. While mostly all of them are in her ears, Marigold has quite a few piercings herself
. She has triple lobes and a couple cartilage/helix for each ear
. She also has a small hoop for her right nostril, and a dangly navel piercing as her other two piercings
. All of her jewelry are gold in color, usually done as hoops, diamonds, or similar extravagant manners
. For her navel piercing though, she likes wearing more dangly charms, such as the butterfly one as it calls back to her own status as a fairy
. Is perfectly content with the piercings she has now, and has no plans at the moment to get anything else in the future
- Gracen
. Gracen only has one piercing
. Most citizens of Pallomore are more reserved, and thus do not have many piercings or tattoos unless they are wanting to stand out
. Gracen is like this, as he mostly keeps to himself and is not the biggest fan of attention
. Plus it was just something that was never on his mind to get during his life, as he had other things to worry about
. However despite that, he does actually have one piercing, a single cartilage/helix for his right ear
. He got it in his early twenties, when he was hanging out with his brother one night in the downtown area of the capital city
. He does not have any other piercings nor is he sure what he would want pierced, but might consider getting his eyebrow done, he would just have to think about it for a long time
