About Aemond Targaryen

Since the books they have been team black, not because my favorite character is there (King Viserys is my favorite character) but because I think they are right (precisely because of Viserys' will). However, the series is making me intrigued about Aemond (who I hated in the book). They show us an Aemond bullied primarily by his older brother, humiliated and partially (for now, obviously) innocent of what happens. They tell us that he is the one who studies history and philosophy, the one who trains hard. But the thing that really struck me? The brothel scenes. I think he could fall on the asexual to demisexual spectrum from what we know now, and I think he had sex that one time because he was forced to by Aegon. In fact, we always see him naked but never interested in actual sex, on the contrary he curls up or hugs. I think this need for affection and this disinterest in sex, combined with his studies, skills as a swordsman and the fact that he rides the largest living dragon of his time make him a deeply complex and interesting character, as well as very original because he confirms and contradiction of what one would expect from someone like him. And I can't wait to see him interact with a young lady😉
