It's probably an unpopular opinion, but in my opinion Voldemort wasn't mistreated in the orphanage. He certainly wasn't happy, but he wasn't beaten or anything.

I love Bellatrix's height, I love her confidence and her skill. I love my bad girl and consider her one of the best villains I know.
The way movie Bellamort rests their wands between their fingers the same way...
I frankly hate Cursed Child because it had the potential to be an interesting story but ended up being a poor piece of fanfiction.
I always love reading how hot Harry thought Voldemort was when he was young, I mean Harry, he killed your parents, no need to keep repeating that Tom was hot.
Unpopular opinion: If Cursed Child had been developed well, it could have been a great book.
However, for me Voldemort is not straight, it could be different things based on the personal questioning but he is not straight.
And I'll always laugh when I think of all the times Harry called young Voldemort handsome or the most handsome.
My Black Sisters fan cast:
Bellatrix and Voldemort are equally possessive, if Voldemort had living relatives Bellatrix would do everything to eliminate them if he showed too much attachment to them (obviously first making Voldemort hate them).
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but in my opinion Voldemort liked Bellatrix precisely because she had the courage to think differently from him and to go against him without betraying him (see the famous chapter at Snape's house).
I really believe that Bellatrix always preferred to call Voldemort Master rather than Lord because he was first and foremost that for her, her Master of the Dark Arts.
Bellatrix core.
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but for me, Bellatrix at Hogwarts wasn't a mess, she was an impeccable student, like a dark Hermione.
I'd really like to know when Bellatrix's birthday actually is.
