In the world of wealth and power, Marquess Timothy Drake works long, strenuous hours to ensure the palace stays organised, the royal family properly managed and the country of Gotham afloat. Instead, he spends the majority of the night at the table, entertaining the young Prince of the di Angelos, who has arrived as an envoy of his kingdom at Olumpus' celebration, with what seems to be friendly chatters.

Juno isn't quite thrilled that Jason is neglecting the bride candidates. Jupiter thinks that's okay. This type of ball is a chance to expand connections too. And if his son deems this occasion a suitable one to ensure the alliance with the faraway Erebus, then they can have as many more proms for him to find his brides after as he needs.

They're both wrong and right, though. Because surely Jason isn't paying attention to his potential spouses. But again, his motivation to accompany Nico di Angelo is hardly political either.
