It was about midday in Fyfield City. The sun was high and everything seemed peaceful. Jonath and Iliano were sitting on the beach, the waves gently lapping at the Angel-Reborn’s bare feet. It had been a really long time since they’ve had the ability to just sit down and rest like this. Between wild creatures and hellspawn, it’s been nothing but fighting for the two plus their companions Capri and Princess Dulain. Regardless of that, this was a time that the two fighters were able to try and get to know each other. They hadn’t said a word to each other since Capri left to take care of his divine duties and Dulain was speaking with Princess Lucah about allowing the party passage to the north once more. An unceremonious sigh escapes the angel commander’s lips. “Days like this make me wish I was back home. In Bygrove I mean.” “For what reason would you desire to return to the place that caused your death?” Jonath asks quietly as he stands to saunter close to his companion. “A place like that would logically not bring joy back to you.” A sad laugh. “You have a point, but it’s my home. Sure, twelve years isn’t a very long time to us humani, but it doesn’t change the fact it’s where I’m from. Surely you miss your home.” “Negative.” The answer was a little surprising to Iliano. He had never really talked about this with the Mechi before, but that was mostly because he had trouble putting his thoughts into words. He wasn’t ever sure why that was, Kahlil was around the same age as Jonath and had no trouble processing his thoughts. “Well, why would you say that? Your family must miss you.” A stiff shake of the head. “Rubyblood would not accept the decisions I have made in my absence. Allowing the Royal brand to be worn on my right sleeve, traveling in daylight, befriending the humani. Against natural coding.” “Wait, take a step back. The Queen is your mother!? Why didn’t you tell us!?” No reaction. Iliano stops and stares at the water again. “That was a little harsh. I’m sorry.” “Unnecessary apologies. I was simply trying to… convey a response…” They fall into silence once again as Jonath collects his ‘thoughts’. The brunette always forgets that sometimes his robotic friend will take longer than expected to finally answer a question. Sometimes it would even take hours, and this just might be one of those times. The older waits patiently as the other continues to stare off.  Eventually it becomes apparent that the Mechi isn’t going to be giving an answer as he has become entranced by the sound of the waves. A light sigh can be heard coming from Iliano as he figures this is just another one of those times where a conversation can’t really be held. At least he’s getting used to just being patient with the guy, as he is getting used to the Angel-Reborn getting worked up over nothing.

-Jon’s quite partial to the color green and a light blue, mostly due to his insignia and his wing color

-He’s a robot. He doesn’t eat.

-He can control ice magic but that’s about it in the way of “supernatural”

-Being a robotic entity, he’s really smart and pretty strong, near comparable to an angel

-He’s very socially awkward due to not having much interaction with humani and angels in a friendly manner

-Jon is easily ticked at Conroy’s sarcasm and he really doesn’t like someone pointing out that’s his pretty “foreign” compared to everyone else in Gaiaskye
