The Savage Pelt
The chill wind of autumn carried the scent of pine and impending obligation through the castle's courts. Prince Laurenz, younger of Äthsilien’s royal sons, stood before the window, hands tucked into the pockets of his rich velvet jacket, his gaze drifted beyond the manicured rose garden.
Mist, thick and clinging, veiled the distant edge of the Forbidden Forest, a shimmering wall of mystery where magic breathed. He loved the whispered tales of the Forbidden Forest, a place of ancient magic bordering their kingdom. Magic, a word Äthsilien condemned, a force his family forbade. Yet, the stories of its beings, its sorcerer, Damazein, captivated him. They spoke of a man who commanded wild beasts, a man who could imbue humans with animal traits, if they wore the creature’s hide. Whatsoever, tomorrow, his older brother, Edmar, would stage another grand hunt, a spectacle designed to burnish his glory, cementing his claim to the throne.
Laurenz’s role? To glad-hand nobles, to ensure the wine flowed, to make the feast *excessive*. The thought alone made his stomach clench. “Still staring at the trees, my Prince?” Konrad’s voice, bright and unburdened, cut through Laurenz’s dread. The squire, a loyal shadow, leaned against a nearby pillar, his brown leather gambeson creaking softly.
“The sun shines, the birds sing! A grand day for a grand hunt!” Laurenz turned, his lips thinning. “A grand day for a grand humiliation, you mean. I am to become a glorified jester, Konrad. My brother wants me to ensure the wine flows freely, the laughter rings loud.” Konrad’s brow furrowed. “Nonsense. You’re the cleverest man I know.” “Cleverness doesn't fill a banquet hall with boisterous laughter,” Laurenz countered, a bitter edge to his voice. “It doesn’t make me command a room, not like Edmar.” He ran a hand through his blonde hair. “I wish I could simply shed this… this diffidence. If only there were a way,” Laurenz mused, more to himself than Konrad, “to simply *become* someone else. Like the old tales say… of Damazein. Imagine, a lion’s hide. I could be proud, regal, the very life of the feast.” He scoffed, shaking his head. “A foolish fantasy.” Konrad, who had been listening intently, pushed off the pillar, his eyes wide. “Then that’s it! We seek out Damazein. What an adventure!” Laurenz scoffed, waving a dismissive hand. “It’s a children’s tale, Konrad. A diversion for bored minds. Besides,” he added, a flicker of genuine fear crossing his face, “the Forbidden Forest is… forbidden. Who knows what dangers lurk there?” He paused, a mischievous glint replacing the fear. “Perhaps *you* should seek Damazein. Wear a fox hide. It might finally sharpen that wits of yours.” Konrad ignored the jab, his enthusiasm undimmed. “A tale or not, it’s a chance to escape this pomp and circumstance. Think of it, Laurenz! A real quest. We’ll find this Damazein, you’ll don your lion’s skin, and return as the most celebrated prince Äthsilien has ever seen.” He clapped Laurenz on the shoulder. “What’s the harm in looking?” Laurenz hesitated. He had always been too scared to even approach the forest’s edge. Yet, Konrad’s enthusiasm was infectious, his logic, however flawed, appealing. He closed his eyes, picturing the endless, dark expanse of the Forbidden Forest. They would get lost, surely. They would never find this Damazein, a fool’s errand. But at least it was an escape and the thought of not finding Damazein in that immense, ancient wood was a strange comfort. “Very well,” Laurenz said. “But don’t expect a roaring lion to return. Expect two very lost, very foolish men.” Konrad’s grin stretched wider. “Perfect, my prince. Saddle the horses. Adventure awaits!”
The air in the Forbidden Forest hung thick, a damp shroud clinging to ancient trees. Twisted roots snaked across the path, grasping at the hem of Laurenz’s velvet jacket. He shivered, not from the cold, but from the prickle of forbidden magic he imagined in every rustle of leaves. His heart hammered a frantic rhythm against his ribs, each beat a stark reminder of the magic-averse kingdom he'd left behind, just beyond the tree line. “See? Nothing to fear,” Konrad’s voice, bright and unburdened, cut through the rustling leaves. He strode forward, his leather gambeson brushing against ferns, his eyes alight with a hunger for adventure. A flash of russet fur darted between moss-covered stones. A fox. Its bright eyes fixed on them for a heartbeat, then it vanished into the undergrowth. Konrad moved, a blur of motion, his squire’s training honed by years of practice. He reappeared moments later, a triumphant grin splitting his face, the limp form of the fox cradled in his arms. “Perfect,” Konrad declared, his voice echoing unnaturally in the hushed woods. He produced a hunting knife, its blade glinting. “Prepared for Damazein!” Laurenz’s stomach churned. He averted his gaze, the thought of the act making his skin crawl. They pressed deeper, the forest canopy swallowing the last vestiges of daylight. Then, through a break in the gnarled branches, a spire pierced the gloom. A single, impossibly tall tower, its stone weathered to the color of twilight, climbed towards a sky just beginning to bleed purple. Light flickered from a high window, a beacon in the encroaching darkness. “He's here,” Laurenz whispered, disbelief coloring his tone.
They pushed through heavy, iron-bound doors. The air inside was dry, tasting of aged parchment and something sharp, like ozone. A man stood before them, lean and elegant, his dark velvet coat a stark contrast to the forest's wildness. His eyes, the startling blue of a winter sky, held a glint of amusement. This was Damazein.
Laurenz’s carefully rehearsed words caught in his throat. He stammered, a jumble of half-formed pleas. “We seek your power, sorcerer,” Konrad cut in, his voice clear and unwavering. He held up the fox hide. “The rumors say you can grant men the traits of animals.” Damazein’s lips curved into a subtle smirk. “The rumors speak truth,” he said, his voice a low, resonant hum. “A hide of the creature you wish to emulate. That is all I require.” Laurenz’s breath hitched. He wanted to flee. “I have it!” Konrad pulled the fox pelt from his jerkin, thrusting it forward. “Make me smart. Like a fox.” Damazein took the hide, his fingers brushing over the soft fur. He laid it flat on the table, muttering words Laurenz couldn’t decipher. A soft, golden light pulsed, enveloping the pelt. The fur shimmered, reshaping, condensing. It transformed, not into a hide, but a fitted coat of rich, russet fur. Konrad snatched it, a wild glint in his eyes, and shrugged it on. His body convulsed. Bones shifted, muscles rippled. His skin stretched, fur erupted, his face elongated into a muzzle. He shrank, a sleek, red fox now standing where Konrad had been, its bright eyes blinking in confusion. Laurenz gasped, stumbling back. “What have you done?” Damazein merely watched, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes. “A temporary phase. He will return.” Barely a minute passed. The fox twitched, its form blurring. It swelled, fur receding, limbs lengthening. Konrad stood before them again, his clothes restored, his face pale, but his eyes, sharp and quick, darted around the room. A subtle shift in his aura. “My mind… it races. I see paths, connections… everything is so clear,” Konrad murmured, his voice laced with awe. Laurenz stared. Konrad, the boy who struggled with basic sums, now spoke with the precision of a scholar. The transformation was undeniable. A thrill, cold and sharp, pierced through Laurenz’s lingering fear. This was his chance. “I… I want to try,” Laurenz managed, his voice stronger now. Konrad’s gaze, now keen and calculating, swept over Laurenz. "But you lack a hide, don't you, Laurenz? A lion's, if I recall your dream." Damazein’s gaze flickered. “You came unprepared, Prince? A pity...” Konrad interrupted Damazein. "Is there a furrier nearby? One who deals in such... exotic pelts?" Damazein’s lips twitched. "Indeed. The market in the nearby town of Deepholt often carries such wares. It lies a half day's journey east." Laurenz’s heart pounded with a new kind of anticipation, a desperate hope. He had to go. He needed this. Konrad, ever practical, stepped forward. “Then let us not waste time. Deepholt it is.”
Early the next morning, they left the tower, the forest no longer feeling quite so menacing. The sun had climbed high by the time they reached Deepholt. Its market buzzed with the chatter of merchants and the earthy scent of livestock and spices. They found a furrier’s stall tucked between a blacksmith and a baker. Pelts of every imaginable creature hung from wooden beams, a rich tapestry of textures and colors. Rauhöker, a man with a dark, wavy mane and shrewd eyes, emerged from behind a mountain of fox furs. His gaze swept over their fine clothing, a flicker of recognition in his dark eyes.
“Lion fur,” Laurenz stated, his voice gaining a newfound assertiveness. “Do you have it?” Rauhöker’s lips curved into a slow smile. “For a prince, anything!” He swept a dark, bushy pelt, its mane a thick halo, across the rough wooden table. “For a king. Unmatched.” Next, he laid out a sleeker, tawny hide, devoid of the regal ruff. “Or, this. Still a lion, of course. Just… a younger specimen. Less expensive, but no less potent” Laurenz’s gaze lingered on the second pelt. The bushy mane seemed too ostentatious, too much like Edmar’s pomp. Laurenz intended the image of quiet strength, not flamboyant display. Despite the mane was far too costly. He touched the smoother fur, a faint tremor running through his fingers. “The one without the mane,” Laurenz said, his voice quiet. The words surprised him, firm despite his lingering apprehension. “An excellent choice, my Prince,” Rauhöker’s eyes glinted, a quick, almost imperceptible shift in their dark depths. He accepted the coins Konrad counted out, a smile spreading across his bearded face.
Back in Damazein’s tower, the air crackled with anticipation. Konrad watched, eyes wide, as Damazein, a smirk playing on his lips, took the hide. The sorcerer’s long fingers moved with fluid grace over the fur, tracing unseen sigils in the air. A low hum vibrated through the stone, and the hide shimmered, transforming into a coat of supple, golden-brown fur. “Your turn, Prince,” Damazein’s voice resonated, a low thrum that promised both wonder and danger. Laurenz hesitated, a tremor of doubt snaking through him. Konrad clapped him on the shoulder, his eyes shining with a new, sharp intelligence. “You saw what it did for me,” Konrad’s voice held a newfound clarity, a quick wit that sharpened his words. “Now, claim your lion’s pride.” Laurenz’s hands trembled as he slipped into the transformed garment. The coat molded to his form, warm and strangely alive. A heat spread from his chest, tingling, then surging. His vision blurred. The stone walls of the tower stretched, then compressed. His breath hitched. A guttural sound tore from his throat, unfamiliar yet natural. He felt a sudden lengthening in his spine, a powerful coil of muscle. His joints cracked, reshaping. His hands became paws, tipped with retractable claws. He stood on all fours, a magnificent feline, tawny fur rippling over powerful, lean muscles. His tail, long and thick, twitched with restless energy. His senses exploded. The faint scent of dust, the distant drip of water, the low thrum of Damazein’s magic – all amplified, sharp, immediate. A hunger, primal and vast, clawed at his gut. Damazein’s eyes widened, a flicker of genuine surprise crossing his handsome face before his lips stretched into a slow, knowing grin. “A puma,” Konrad breathed, his voice laced with awe. “Not a lion,” Damazein chuckled, a soft, dry sound, “Rauhöker, you sly fox.” Konrad’s eyes widened, his enhanced intellect already processing the shift. “The trader… he tricked us.” Laurenz, the puma, let out a low growl, a rumble that vibrated through his chest. He felt an instinct, primal and undeniable, to stalk, to hunt. He raised himself onto his hind legs, a powerful, graceful movement. The fur, which had been his skin, now split down his chest, peeling away like shed skin, transforming back into a long, open coat. His human form re-emerged, but it was not the same. His blonde hair, still swept back, framed a face now sharper, his blue eyes holding a fierce new light. His body, once slender, was now a canvas of lean, corded muscle, every sinew defined. He wore only the fur coat, its tawny expanse revealing a sculpted chest, skimpy black leather briefs, and tall, gleaming black boots.
He moved, a silent, fluid glide, his steps light, almost soundless. The air itself seemed to prickle around him, alive with the heightened senses of a predator. A tremor ran through him. Not fear, but an urge. A hunger. A deep, consuming need to run, to chase, to bring down prey. It pulsed in his veins, a terrifying, exhilarating call. Damazein stepped closer, his blue eyes piercing. “You feel it, don’t you? The wild spirit. The hunt.” Laurenz clenched his fists, knuckles white. The urge clawed at him, demanding release. “Indulge it,” Damazein encouraged, a low, persuasive tone in his voice. “The forest calls. Answer it.” The sorcerer’s words were a key turning a lock. The restraint Laurenz had always known shattered. He fled the tower, a shadow blurring through the moon-dappled forest, the wild calling him. He stalked, a silent predator, until he found his prey – a deer, grazing peacefully. The hunt was a whirlwind of instinct, a blur of speed and power. When it was over, a profound calm settled over him, a deep, satisfying quiet. He returned to the tower, the primal satisfaction radiating from him. Damazein, waiting, offered a knowing smile, “This is your true self, Prince. The wild spirit within you, finally unleashed.” Damazein stepped closer, his presence radiating a comforting authority. “The world will try to tame it, to cage it. But I can guide you. Help you master this power.” Laurenz felt a deep pull, an undeniable acceptance. The sorcerer’s presence, commanding yet reassuring, felt like a guiding hand rather than a leash. Laurenz didn't question the feeling, the absolute rightness of it. He had wrestled with fear, with inadequacy, for so long. Yet now, he has transformed from a shy, uncertain boy into a creature of purpose, a hunter. He felt proud, savage, untamed. And this sorcerer, this stranger, offered not just understanding, but guidance. He felt a profound sense of security in Damazein’s presence, a peace he hadn't known before. The whisper of Damazein's influence, a silken cord tightening around his very will, went unnoticed. He didn't question it. It simply felt right.
Meanwhile, back on the market square of Deepholt, a shadow fell across Rauhöker’s wares, blocking the dappled sunlight. Damazein stood before him, a figure of elegant authority, his black velvet coat absorbing the light, his piercing blue eyes fixed on Rauhöker. A subtle smirk played on the sorcerer’s lips. “A curious turn of events, wouldn’t you agree, Rauhöker?” Damazein’s voice, a low rumble, drew the fur trader’s full attention. Rauhöker met the sorcerer’s gaze, a flicker of apprehension in his own. “Curious how, Lord Damazein?” “The prince, young Laurenz. He sought the spirit of a lion. He left my tower with the essence of a puma.” Rauhöker’s expression hardened. “The boy asked for a lion, renowned for its regal presence. I gave him a king of the mountains. What’s the difference?” Damazein leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “A clever evasion. But a puma hide is considerably cheaper than a lion’s, isn’t it?”. Rauhöker didn’t flinch. A flicker of amusement played across his strong features. “Puma is cheaper, yes. But that wasn’t my primary motivation, sorcerer.” “No?” Damazein’s voice held a soft, dangerous edge. “Enlighten me.” Rauhöker shifted his weight, his gaze steady. “Äthsilien’s markets. Closed to me. To anyone from the forest. They call us wild, uncivilized. I’ve heard their whispers, seen their sneers. Lion fur, it promised courage, regality. But a puma… a puma is territorial. A puma challenges. It fights for its ground. That boy, Laurenz, he’s a prince. His brother holds the throne. What do you think a puma spirit would whisper to him?” Damazein’s smile widened, a glint of genuine appreciation in his eyes. “You anticipated a challenge to the throne?” “I did,” Rauhöker confirmed, a hint of pride in his voice. “And I know you, Damazein. You rule the wild beasts of this forest. What happens when a man carries the spirit of a wild beast? He answers to you! He becomes yours to rule, too. With Laurenz on the throne, with you pulling his strings, the markets of Äthsilien would open. To me. To all of us.” A low chuckle rumbled in Damazein’s chest. “You’ve thought this through, merchant.” He rose, circling Rauhöker with languid steps. “Your insight is… valuable.” A smirk appeared on Damazein’s lips, then … a low chuckle rumbled in his chest. “Astute. Very astute, Rauhöker.” He scanned the array of furs. “I find myself in need of a few more items. A meerkat, perhaps. And a dog.” Rauhöker’s brows furrowed. He pulled out a small, sandy-colored meerkat pelt, then a shaggy brown dog hide. “Curious choices for a sorcerer of your renown. What purpose do they serve?” “The meerkat,” Damazein began, picking up the meerkat pelt, “is for Edmar. The elder prince. Imagine him, a twitching bundle of nerves, constantly scanning the horizon for unseen threats, forever anxious. With a skittishness that will prevent him from standing his ground against his… newly confident brother. He’ll flinch from his own shadow.” Rauhöker nodded slowly, a dark understanding dawning in his eyes. “And the dog, then? For Prince Laurenz, to make him even more loyal to your cause, once he sits on the throne?”
Damazein’s laughter echoed, a chilling sound that sent a shiver down Rauhöker’s spine. “Loyalty? Laurenz’s loyalty is already secured. He believes he found his true self. He believes he found understanding in me. No, Rauhöker. Soon, whispers will travel from Äthsilien, speaking of the Savage Count, how each royal reception devolves into a wild orgy of instinct and primal delight.”
Rauhöker blinked, a nervous tremor crossing his face. “Äthsilien will be no more a kingdom,” Damazein continued, his voice a silken promise, “but a mere county, a wild domain, absorbed into the greater realm of the Forbidden Forest. My realm. And its savage count, Laurenz, will rule just as vassal of its true master.” He tapped the dog hide with a long finger. “No, this is for you, Rauhöker. To ensure your own loyalty. I cannot risk betrayal, not with such grand plans afoot.” The fur trader recoiled, his face paling. He knew the tales. A dog’s hide, transformed, didn’t just make one loyal. It made one *eager to please*. It made one a minion. He swallowed hard, his triumphant grin dissolving into a mask of dawning horror. He had traded free market access for a leash. His pleading eyes locked onto Damazein’s, yet the sorcerer’s smile remained fixed, unyielding. Rauhöker had played a dangerous game, and now he was on the verge of being bound to the ultimate master - he had no choice.

When Fairy Tales Come True
The scent of malted barley and hops hung thick in the air, a comforting, yeasty blanket. Sunlight, filtered through the high industrial windows, painted stripes across the polished concrete floor of the brewery. Copper vats gleamed, silent titans against a brick wall, their presence a promise of future brews. Behind the long, teal-tiled bar, a small, scrawny man with wild, wiry hair and ears that seemed to stretch just a little too far from his head – the brewery owner-, wiped down a glass. A meticulously groomed beard, the color of old snow, pointed sharply from his chin. He hummed a tune under his breath. “Today I bake, tomorrow I brew,…“
A table near the counter held three students, their voices rising and falling in animated discussion. The man paused his humming, an almost imperceptible tilt of his head, listening. “It’s just, where’s the proof?” Charlie, a young man with a neat side part and an earnest expression, leaned forward, his hands clasped around a frosty pint. “This whole ‘wokeness’ thing, it feels like it’s built on sand. Diversity, they say, is our strength. But it lacks any grounding in reality. But studies… actual, peer-reviewed studies… show that diversity *reduces* societal coherence. It's not a strength; it's a divisive force.”
Mai Sing, a girl with a Pakistani heritage, a vibrant scarf knotted loosely around her neck, snapped back. “So you’re telling me the benefits of diversity are just fairy tales? Something we tell ourselves to feel good, but it’s not *real*?” Her voice, usually soft, carried a sharp edge. Charlie shifted, a slight flush creeping up his neck. “Well, look at what it’s doing to actual fairy tales. *The Little Mermaid*? Who comes up with a black mermaid?” Mai Sing’s eyes, dark and expressive, narrowed. “Why not? The story’s about bridging cultural and racial differences for love. A diverse mermaid makes perfect sense. It’s about accepting someone from a different world, a different background. That’s the core of it.” Luisa, a striking young woman with an air of effortless cool, her phone already poised on the table, chimed in, her voice a practiced cadence. "Exactly! And Snow White? Another prime example. The original story, when you strip away the patriarchal narratives, highlights marginalized groups. The dwarfs, right? They're the original marginalized community, offering refuge. In a modern context, we replace 'dwarfs'—because that's not politically correct anymore—with real marginalized groups. A new movie, where Snow White finds solace among a community of, say, trans individuals, or neurodivergent people. It would be revolutionary, giving them a voice, making them central to the narrative." She gestured emphatically, her hand sweeping through the air. The brewery owner approached their table, a small smile playing on his lips. He placed a fresh round of beer down. “So, young ladies,” his raspy voice cut through their debate, “you wish the world would become like these fairy tales?” He looked first at Mai Sing, his gaze sharp, probing. Mai Sing met his eyes, a spark of conviction in her own. “I would love it. If the message of *The Little Mermaid* – that love transcends all boundaries, that different worlds can connect – became reality? Absolutely.” He turned to Luisa, his head cocked slightly. "And you? You wish the world of Snow White to become reality?" Luisa considered this, a thoughtful frown creasing her brow. "In principle, yes. The idea of a kingdom celebrating marginalized groups, giving them their due... that's powerful. But," she wrinkled her nose, "the patriarchal narrative of the prince waking Snow White with a kiss. That's a hard no. It’s antiquated, disempowering." A low chuckle rattled in the brewery owner's chest, a dry, rustling sound. "Ah, but in the original tale, the prince doesn't wake her with a kiss. The clumsy dwarfs, burdened by her coffin, stumble. The jolt dislodges the poisoned apple piece from her throat. *That* wakes her." Luisa's eyes widened. "Really? That’s... much better. Yes, under *those* circumstances, I would absolutely love for the idea of Snow White to become reality." The man gave a curt nod, a knowing glint in his eye, then retreated behind his bar, resuming his quiet humming. The students, satisfied, returned to their beer, oblivious to the peculiar promise hanging in the air.
Months later, the air thrummed with celebration. Mai Sing, her Pakistani heritage evident in the rich tones of her shimmering emerald dress, stood on the edge of the beach, the waves whispering secrets at her feet.
It was the wedding of her white childhood friend, Eric. A small, familiar ache bloomed in her chest – a long-buried crush on Eric, now definitively out of reach, as he chose a partner from his own background. Yet, she offered a genuine smile, wishing them both happiness. The party had been boisterous, joyous, stretching into the early hours. The sky began to lighten, a soft blush spreading across the horizon. A familiar, raspy voice broke through the distant laughter. “A fine celebration, isn’t it?” Mai Sing turned. The brewery owner, his silhouette sharp against the pre-dawn glow, stood a few paces away. A strange sense of unease prickled her skin. “What are you doing here?” she asked, a small laugh escaping her lips. He stepped closer, his eyes glinting. “I am here to make the story of *The Little Mermaid* reality, as promised.” Mai Sing laughed, a light, dismissive sound. “You’re a little late for that, I’m afraid. My prince, Eric, married hours ago.” She gestured towards the distant revelers. A thin smile stretched across his face. “Ah, but that is precisely how the fairy tale unfolds, in its true, unadulterated form. Not the saccharine Disney version, mind you. In the original, the prince does not marry the mermaid. He marries another. And then… the sea witch’s curse takes hold. The mermaid had to choose between killing the prince before dawn or transforming into sea foam - in the end, she turned to sea foam.” His voice dropped, a low murmur against the rhythmic crash of the waves. “The learning of The Little Mermaid, you see, is that everyone has their right realm, where they belong, with their own people. To challenge this, to ignore this natural order, brings only suffering.” Mai Sing felt a cold dread seep into her bones. Her laughter died in her throat. “That’s… that’s a reactionary interpretation! That challenges everything I believe about diversity, about bridging worlds!” Her voice rose, indignation warring with a rising panic. “That’s not the message! That’s… that’s just fear!” Her vision blurred, the world around her tilting. A strange effervescence bubbled through her veins, a tingling sensation that spread from her fingertips to her toes. She felt a lightness, a dissolution. Rage, hot and furious, foamed within her. She tried to speak, to scream, but her words dissolved into a gurgling sound, a sound swallowed by the insistent roar of the ocean. As the first sliver of the sun’s fiery disk crested the horizon, painting the sky in oranges and pinks, her indignant cries became indistinguishable from the noise of the waves. The brewery owner, true to his word, had transformed her. Where Mai Sing had stood, only a shimmering, iridescent patch of sea foam now floated on the incoming tide, destined to dissipate with the morning light. The purple silk of her gown, now just a memory, vanished with her.
Just hours later, a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds enveloped the city square. Luisa, her phone held aloft, a ring light illuminating her face, livestreamed the local Carnival of Cultures. Her voice resonated with passion. “We’re here to give a voice to all these incredible marginalized groups! To celebrate their resilience, their art, their very existence!” She spun slowly, capturing the vibrant tapestry of dancers, musicians, and artists. A familiar figure, small and wiry, appeared at her side, a strange glint in his eye. “A grand spectacle,” the brewery owner’s voice rasped. “And I am here to fulfill my promise. To make *Snow White* a reality for you.” Luisa, momentarily flustered but quickly recovering, turned her full attention to the camera. “Oh! Amazing! You know, what I really need is more reach for this cause. To talk about the systemic issues, the problems faced by these groups. Just like in *Snow White*, where the entire kingdom, even the prince, celebrated the marginalized dwarfs.” The brewery owner’s lips curved into a slow, knowing smirk. “Ah, but the story of *Snow White* is not primarily about the dwarfs, young woman. It is about vanity. The vanity of the Evil Queen.” He leaned in, his voice a conspiratorial whisper. “And in the original tale, as punishment for her vanity, the Evil Queen was forced to dance in shoes made of red-hot iron until she fell dead.” He gestured around the bustling square. “These ‘marginalized groups,’ as you call them… they are merely the backdrop for your own influencer blog. The main cause, I believe, is to fuel your vanity.” He snapped his fingers. A sharp, searing pain exploded in Luisa’s feet. She looked down. Her white sneakers had vanished, replaced by shoes of glowing, incandescent iron, pulsating with an unbearable heat. A scream, raw and primal, tore from her throat. “Dance,” the brewery owner commanded, his voice devoid of pity. “Dance until you fall dead. But,” he added, a flicker of something almost kind in his eyes, “I am merciful. Call me by my true name, and you shall be free. Three tries you have.”
Luisa screamed, a guttural sound of pure terror and pain, forcing her feet to move in a grotesque jig. The iron seared her flesh, each step an inferno. Her mind, ravaged by pain, scrabbled for names, for figures she had long railed against, those she and her followers considered the very essence of malevolence. "Donald!" she shrieked, tears streaming down her face, her carefully applied makeup running in rivulets. "Donald, you monster!" The brewery owner shook his head slowly, a faint smile playing on his lips. "That is not my name!" She stumbled, her legs threatening to give out, the smell of burning flesh mingling with the festive aromas of the carnival. "Adolf!" she wailed, her voice cracking, her eyes wide with desperation. " That is not my name," he denied, his voice calm, almost bored. The pain was beyond endurance. Her body convulsed, her feet leaving scorched prints in the gravel. She was reduced to a writhing, screaming mess, her carefully constructed influencer persona shattered. "Elon!" she howled, a final, desperate gasp as her knees buckled. The brewery owner watched impassively as Luisa collapsed, her screams abruptly cut short. Her body, consumed by the infernal heat, withered and crumbled, leaving behind only a small, smoldering pile of ash.
He brushed his hands together, then hummed, "Heute back ich, morgen brau‘ ich,… ach wie gut, dass niemand weiß, dass ich Rumpelstilzchen heiß!" (Today I bake, tomorrow I brew... oh, how good that nobody knows that my name is Rumpelstilzchen.) He grinned, "And let me add this: I care as much about miller's' daughters who became queens as I do about commoners, like influencers!”
Back at the brewery, Charlie sat alone at their usual table, nursing a lukewarm beer. He checked his watch again. Mai Sing and Luisa were late, very late. They were never this late for their discussion group. He checked his phone again, then glanced towards the door, a frown etching itself between his brows.
The brewery owner, Rumpelstilzchen, approached, a small, knowing smile on his lips. “They won’t be coming today, young man,” Rumpelstilzchen said, his voice a raspy rumble. “Their fairy tales, you see, have become true.” He paused, his gaze fixed on Charlie. “And every fairy tale needs a prince, doesn’t it?” Before Charlie could respond, a sudden weight settled on his head. He reached up, his fingers brushing against something cool and metallic. A crown, ornate and gleaming. As he looked down, his casual blue sweatshirt and track pants shimmered, dissolving into new fabric. Rich, crimson velvet, intricately laced, replaced the sweatshirt, forming a gambeson. Soft, black leather molded to his legs, becoming fitted pants. A heavy, silver-hilted sword, its pommel glinting with a dark gem, appeared at his hip.
Before him, the wall rippled, shimmering like heat haze on a summer road. A swirling vortex of emerald and gold opened, revealing a glimpse of a fantastical landscape beyond: towering, ancient trees, mountains piercing a sky of impossible colors, and distant, shimmering castles. “I… I don’t want to be a prince!” Charlie stammered, a bewildered fear in his eyes. Rumpelstilzchen merely smiled, a predatory gleam in his ancient gaze. “Oh, but you do. And many evil queens are waiting, eager to make you their lover.” He leaned closer, his voice a conspiratorial whisper. “Do you not feel it already? A difference?” Charlie paused, taking a breath. A strange sensation bloomed in his chest, a surge of unexpected courage, a potent, almost primal thrumming in his loins. He felt... braver. And undeniably, surprisingly, horny. He looked at the portal, then at his new attire, then back at the swirling colors. A prince. He was a prince. He looked at the portal, no longer with apprehension, but with a burgeoning sense of adventure. With a newfound resolve, Charlie strode towards the shimmering opening, his leather boots making a soft thud on the brewery floor. He stepped through the portal without a backward glance, the shimmering light swallowing him whole. Rumpelstilzchen watched him go, a wide, malevolent grin splitting his face. "Yes," he whispered to the empty brewery, a low, satisfied hiss. "Embodying traditional masculine roles completely.” Rumpelstilzchen wondered whether he should have informed them that the original versions of these tales rarely concluded with “And they all lived happily ever after.” The true ending, he mused, was often far more ambiguous: “And if they haven’t died, they still live today.” A phrase that opened the door to further challenges, untold sufferings, and perhaps, just perhaps, a fleeting glimmer of happiness. But such details were for later. For now, Rumpelstilzchen reveled in the thought that Charlie, in his newfound, traditional masculinity, would become an easy target. He would barely be able to resist the charm of an evil queen, a malleable toy for her desires. Rumpelstilzchen grinned, “And I, of course, will claim my price for delivering such a delightful prince." He turned back to his brewery, humming his tune once more.
And if they haven’t died, they still live today…
Prince
Prince Lyrand sighed as he gazed out the window of his chambers, watching the sun set over the kingdom of Towria.
As the youngest son of King Kerwyn and Queen Elspe of Towria, a medieval fantasy kingdom, Lyrand held a unique position. Magic was strictly prohibited in Towria, and witches and sorcerers were persecuted and punished cruelly. The king feared the power that magic wielded, and this fear had shaped the kingdom's laws.
The golden light bathed the medieval fantasy landscape in a warm glow, but Lyrand's thoughts were far from peaceful. He was furious due he came from an argument with his parents. And on top he felt a twinge of self-doubt as he thought of his older brother, Woldrand, who was destined to rule this land one day. Unlike Woldrand, Lyrand had always felt like an outsider, more interested in books and knowledge than in swordfighting and political intrigue. On top he had a rebellious streak that often got him into trouble.
"There you are, Lyrand," came a deep voice from behind him. Lyrand turned to see his older brother, Crown Prince Woldrand, striding into the chamber.
“I won’t do it, Woldrand!” he exclaimed, running a hand through his unkempt blond hair. “I refuse to join the witch-guards!” Woldrand entered the room, closing the door behind him. His expression was calm but serious. “Lyrand, you need to think this through. Our parents are set on this decision. If you refuse, it will only make things worse.” “Worse?” Lyrand shot back, his blue eyes flashing. “They want to send me to hunt magic users! I fear magic!” “Think about it,” Woldrand replied, stepping closer, his voice steady. “If you join the witch-guards, you’ll show them you’re willing to fulfill your duties. It might even calm their fears about your future.” Lyrand’s expression softened, uncertainty creeping in. “But they don’t understand me. I’m not a warrior; I’m a scholar. They want a brute, not someone who thinks critically!” “Exactly,” Woldrand said, a hint of a smile on his lips. “That’s why you need to go. You can bring your intellect to the witch-guards. You can help them strategize, understand the magic they’re up against. You have the chance to change their approach.” Lyrand hesitated, his mind racing. “Are you sure?” Lyrand asked, his voice wavering. “What if I fail?” “Then you’ll learn,” Woldrand said, placing a reassuring hand on Lyrand’s shoulder. “But if you refuse, you’ll only disappoint our parents and be sent off to the colonies, where you’ll have no chance to prove yourself at all.” Lyrand took a deep breath, weighing his options. “Show them that you can face your fears and take responsibility. You’re stronger than you know.” With a reluctant sigh, Lyrand nodded. “Alright. I’ll join the witch-guards.” Woldrand smiled, pride evident in his gaze. “That’s the spirit, Lyrand. Together, we’ll protect our kingdom from the threat of magic, and you’ll show everyone that your mind is just as powerful as any sword.”
With a heavy heart, he began his training, but his heart was never truly in it. However, his time with the witch-guards was disapointing. He struggled to keep up with the physical demands, and his lack of prowess was noticed. "You're a disappointment, Prince Lyrand," his instructor sneered. "One more failure, and you'll be sent back to the castle in shame." One afternoon, while patrolling the forest on the outskirts of the kingdom, Lyrand spotted a figure that sparked his curiosity. It was a witch, her dark robes blending with the shadows. She moved with grace and purpose, and Lyrand recognized her as someone he had encountered several times in the town, always slipping away just out of reach. Lyrand recognized his chance to prove himself. "Not this time," Lyrand muttered under his breath as he quickened his pace, determined to apprehend her. The witch led him on a winding chase through the forest, until she suddenly disappeared into a cave. Lyrand hesitated for only a moment before entering, his curiosity getting the better of him. As he stepped inside, he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. The cave was eerie and quiet, the only sound the soft pad of his boots on the damp ground.
Suddenly, he found himself entangled in a giant spider web, the sticky threads trapping him tightly. "What—?" Lyrand began, but his words died in his throat as a tall figure stepped out of the shadows. "What have we here?" a deep voice rumbled. Lyrand's eyes widened as he beheld Tarabas, the most powerful sorcerer in the land.
Fear gripped him as the sorcerer strode forward, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Please, let me go," Lyrand pleaded, struggling futilely against the web. "I mean you no harm." Tarabas smirked, his green eyes flashing. "Oh, but you and your kind mean harm to me and mine. It's time you learned a lesson, young prince." The sorcerer raised his hand, and Lyrand felt himself lifted into the air, still bound by the sticky web. Tarabas whisked him through the cave, which served as a hidden entrance to his tower. Lyrand's heart sank as he took in his surroundings: magical runes adorned the walls, and the air crackled with power. "Let's see what we have here," Tarabas purred, unchaining Lyrand from the web and chaining him instead by the wrists and ankles, suspending him in mid-air. Lyrand struggled, but the chains held firm.
Lyrand's eyes widened as Tarabas slowly began to undress him, layer by layer, until he was completely naked and exposed. The cool air raised goosebumps on his skin, making him even more aware of his vulnerable state. "Please... stop," he gritted out, his voice strained. "You can't do this to me!" Paying no heed to Lyrand's protests, Tarabas stepped closer, his fingers trailing lightly over the prince's nipples, circling and teasing until Lyrand's breath hitched despite his efforts to remain unaffected. "You have a beautiful body, Lyrand," the sorcerer murmured, his touch sending shivers down the captive prince's spine. "Stop it!" Lyrand tried to twist away, his face flushed with embarrassment and anger. "I am a prince of Towria! You will pay for this indignity!" Tarabas's eyes sparkled with amusement, and he leaned in closer, his breath ghosting over Lyrand's ear. "Oh, but your body betrays you, doesn't it? You can't deny the pleasure you're feeling." His fingers continued their torment, teasing and caressing until Lyrand's breath quickened and a faint moan escaped his lips. "That's it... let go of your inhibitions." Lyrand's protests turned to whimpers as he felt his body responding against his will. His cock throbbed, betraying his growing arousal, and he felt his muscles tightening, becoming more defined and his frame filling out with lean strength. "Wh-what are you doing to me?" he gasped, his eyes widening in shock as he felt his body hair vanishing, his skin becoming smoother. "Merely unlocking your true potential, my dear prince," Tarabas whispered, his hands now roaming freely over Lyrand's body. "Surrender to the pleasure, and embrace your new self." His fingers traced the contours of Lyrand's now lean muscles, his touch possessive and intimate. "No... this can't be..." Lyrand moaned, his voice hoarse with desire. He felt his body arching into Tarabas's touch, his nipples hardening further as the sorcerer's fingers teased them relentlessly. "Please... I... oh!" he gasped. Tarabas stepped behind Lyrand and his hands moved to Lyrand's lips, silencing his protests, while his other hand wrapped around Lyrand's throbbing cock, "Just relax and let it happen." As Tarabas began to stroke, Lyrand's body’s transformation continued. His soft features became more chiseled and handsome. Even his manhood transformed, becoming straighter slimmer and more prominent while his balls drew up to his shaft and shrunk. Lyrand’s breath coming in short gasps. "Oh... gods..." he moaned. He was helpless to stop the changes, his protests reduced to incoherent murmurs. "That's it... let it wash over you," Tarabas whispered. Lyrand tried to resist, but his body was now responding eagerly to Tarabas's touch. Lyrand's eyes rolled back as pleasure unlike anything he'd ever known before overwhelmed him. His hips bucked involuntarily, seeking more of the sorcerer's touch.
Suddenly, Tarabas stepped away, leaving Lyrand hanging in his chains, breathless and spent. "Look at yourself, Lyrand," the sorcerer said, his voice carrying a note of satisfaction. Lyrand's eyes widened as he realized the truth. He craned his neck, catching a glimpse of his transformed self in a nearby mirror. His once scrawny frame now boasted lean, powerful muscles, and his face had transformed into a vision of masculine beauty.
"No...it can't be..." Lyrand whispered, his voice a mixture of awe and dread. "What have you done to me?" Tarabas' laughter echoed through the tower as he disappeared, leaving Lyrand alone with his thoughts and his dramatically altered body. The young prince's mind raced as he realized the full extent of the sorcerer's power and his own uncertain future.
The sun had set, casting the chamber in darkness. Lyrand, still chained and vulnerable, awaited his fate. The door creaked open, and the soft glow of candlelight illuminated the room as Tarabas entered. But he was not alone. Lyrand's breath caught in his throat as he recognized his brother, Woldrand, standing beside the sorcerer. A mixture of emotions crossed his face—puzzlement, shock and hope. Woldrand's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he took in Lyrand's transformed appearance. "You've done an excellent job, Tarabas. My brother now embodies the image of a true prince."
Slowly a growing realization of the conspiracy before him dripped into Lyrand’s mind. "Woldrand, what is the meaning of this?" Lyrand demanded, his voice shaking. "Why am I here? What have you done to me?" Woldrand stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and cruelty. "Father is a fool to shun magic, Lyrand. It is a force to be reckoned with, and we must embrace it if we are to rule effectively. We cannot fight it; we must collaborate. And you, my brother, are the key to our success." Lyrand's heart sank as he realized the depth of their conspiracy and betrayal. "What are you planning, Woldrand? What do you want from me?" Tarabas, his eyes glittering with dark intent, spoke up. "Prince Woldrand, shall we proceed as discussed?" Woldrand nodded, his gaze never leaving Lyrand. "Yes, Tarabas. Do as we've planned." Lyrand struggled against his chains as Tarabas approached.
With a slow and deliberate movement, Tarabas ran his finger along the prince's bare back, tracing the path from his shoulder blade down to the curve of his buttock. Lyrand shivered, his breath quickening as he felt the sorcerer's touch inch closer to his most intimate place. "Relax, Lyrand. This will be pleasurable, I assure you." Lyrand knew he should resist, but the sensation of Tarabas' finger tracing circles on his skin was overwhelming. His finger gently probed, finding the tight ring of muscle and slowly pushing inside. Lyrand gasped, his eyes widening as he felt the intrusion. "W-what are you doing? Stop!" "Shhh," Tarabas whispered, his breath hot against Lyrand's ear. "You'll enjoy this, I promise." His finger worked its way deeper, massaging Lyrand's prostate. It was an unfamiliar sensation, and yet it sent sparks of pleasure through his body. He tried to pull away, but the chains held him fast, leaving him at the mercy of the sorcerer's touch. "Relax, Lyrand," Tarabas murmured, his breath hot against the prince's ear. "Surrender to me." His finger moved slowly at first, gently working its way inside, then with more purpose as he sensed Lyrand's growing need. Woldrand watched, his eyes gleaming. "Tarabas will keep you here, teaching you the ways of magic. When I ascend the throne, you will be by my side, a powerful sorcerer in service to the kingdom." Lyrand tried to protest, but his words turned to moans as Tarabas worked his magic. His body betrayed him, responding to the sorcerer's touch with growing need. "You see, Lyrand?" Woldrand continued. "This is your destiny. You will be my obedient sorcerer, and together, we will rule." Lyrand's struggles weakened as Tarabas' finger moved within him, sparking sensations that clouded his mind. His body relaxed, surrendering to the pleasure that built with each stroke. "That's it, Lyrand," Tarabas murmured. "Give in to the pleasure. It's useless to resist." The sorcerer worked his magic, stoking the fire in Lyrand's loins until he was begging for more. With a satisfied smirk, Tarabas unchained Lyrand, now pliant and willing, and led him to the nearby bed, its silk sheets inviting and sinister.
Gently, he laid the prince down, running his hands along Lyrand's thighs, causing them to fall open in invitation. Lyrand's eyes closed as he surrendered to the sensations. He felt Tarabas' hands on his inner thighs, gently caressing, and then the slight pressure of the sorcerer's body as he positioned himself between Lyrand's legs. There was a moment of hesitation before— "Ah!" Lyrand cried out as he felt Tarabas' hardness enter him. It was a sharp pain, quickly replaced by a fullness that was both foreign and intriguing.
He felt Tarabas' weight on top of him, the sorcerer's muscles rippling with power as he began to move. The pace was slow at first, Tarabas taking his time to savor the moment. Lyrand could feel every inch of the sorcerer's length, and despite the initial discomfort, he found himself wanting more. He gripped the sheets, his knuckles turning white as he tried to adjust to the sensation. Tarabas leaned down, his lips brushing Lyrand's ear. "Feel my strength, my prince," he whispered, his voice thick with desire. "Let me show you the true power of magic." Lyrand moaned as Tarabas began to move with more purpose, his thrusts becoming deeper and harder. The prince could feel the sorcerer's power in every fiber of his being, and it excited him. He reached out, grabbing hold of Tarabas' arm, feeling the corded muscles there. "Yes... more," Lyrand begged, his voice hoarse and desperate. He had never felt this way before, so completely at the mercy of another, and yet he craved it. He wanted to submit, to be dominated by this powerful man. Tarabas growled, his own desire building. He gripped Lyrand's hips, holding him in place as he thrust deeper, his breath coming in sharp pants. "You like that, my prince? You like being under my control?" "Yes!" Lyrand cried out, his head thrown back in abandon. "Don't stop! Please, I need more!"
In the corner of the room, Woldrand watched the scene unfold with his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and cruelty.
He licked his lips, his eyes glittering with satisfaction as he saw his brother now reduced to a pleading wanton mess. *He's truly lost himself to pleasure*, Woldrand thought, a widening smirk spreading across his face. But it was the knowledge of what this meant for Lyrand's future that truly delighted him. "Please... I need it... more..." Lyrand's voice was hoarse, his words punctuated by gasps and moans. His once shy but rebellious nature had been completely transformed, and he now displayed his desire openly, his body yearning for the touch of another man. Woldrand's satisfaction grew as he witnessed his brother's degradation. *He's being made gay before my very eyes*. The thought sent a thrill through him, and he felt a twisted sense of pleasure. *A gay brother will never challenge my legacy or produce heirs to threaten my rule*.
He knew that this was a calculated move on Tarabas' part, but he welcomed it nonetheless.
Lyrand's hips bucked uncontrollably as he begged for release, his voice high and desperate. "Please... fuck me... harder..." The sound of flesh slapping against flesh echoed off the walls, along with Lyrand's cries and moans. "You were made for this, Lyrand," Tarabas growled. "Made to be dominated, to submit to a strong men's will." "Yes... yes, I was..." Lyrand panted, his body on fire with desire. "I'm yours... do with me as you please." His once stubborn and defiant nature had been overwritten, and he now craved the dominant touch of Tarabas, the feeling of being completely overpowered.
Woldrand's eyes narrowed as he observed the changes in his brother's behavior. *He's becoming docile, obedient*. The thought pleased him immensely. *A docile Lyrand will be the perfect companion, loyal and subservient*. He imagined Lyrand by his side, a living testament to his power and control. Tarabas, his eyes glinting with satisfaction, leaned over Lyrand, his fingers trailing down his chest. "You want this, Lyrand? You want me to take you?" Lyrand whimpered, his eyes pleading. "Yes... please... use me..." His body was on fire, every nerve ending screaming for release, and he would agree to anything to satisfy that craving. Woldrand's cruel smile deepened as he saw the desperation in Lyrand's eyes. *He's mine now. My gay, docile brother*. The thought excited him, and he felt a sense of power and control like never before. *With Lyrand under my thumb, I can shape the future of Towria to my liking*. As Tarabas moved to fulfill Lyrand's pleas, his thrusts powerful and relentless, Woldrand watched with growing arousal. *This is better than I imagined*. The sight of his brother, once so innocent, now completely corrupted and transformed, sent a rush of pleasure through him.
Tarabas' thrusts became frantic, and with a final, powerful cry, he climaxed, his release shooting deep into Lyrand. The prince cried out as well, his body convulsing in pleasure, his own release coating their stomachs despite never having touched himself. Panting, Tarabas slowly withdrew, his eyes never leaving Lyrand's face. He dressed, his movements casual, as if he hadn't just taken the prince's innocence and transformed him into something new.
Woldrand enjoyed the expression in his brother's face, taking in the look of pure ecstasy and devotion. *He's truly mine now*. The thought brought him immense satisfaction, and he knew that this moment would forever change their relationship. Lyrand would be his loyal companion, obedient to his every whim.
Lyrand's body was exhausted, spent from the intense experience. He lay still, his eyes closed, as he felt Tarabas move away from him. The silk sheets were cool against his sweat-dampened skin, and he could hear the soft rustle of fabric as Tarabas dressed him. Tight pants were pulled up his legs, and a feather-adorned jerkin was slipped over his transformed body. The feathers were a clear sign, a declaration to the world that he was now a sorcerer. Lyrand should have felt ashamed, but instead, he found himself aroused by the possessive act of being dressed by another man. It was a dominant display, and he couldn't deny the thrill it sent through him.
"There," Tarabas said, stepping back to admire his handiwork. "Now you look the part, young sorcerer." Lyrand sat up, his new clothes hugging his transformed body.
He felt a rush of pleasure at the compliment and the realization of his newfound power. "I've shared my magic with you, Lyrand," Tarabas continued, his voice deep and commanding. "You're one of us now. I will train you to become a powerful sorcerer." Lyrand's eyes widened at the prospect, and he felt a rush of loyalty and gratitude toward Tarabas. "I... I will do my best, Master," he said, his voice hoarse with emotion. Tarabas smiled, his eyes glinting with a mixture of pride and possession. He lifted Lyrand's chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. "You will be extraordinary, my pupil. I can sense the magic coursing through your veins." Tarabas felt a mix of satisfaction and revenge. He knew the king would be furious to see his son transformed, a sorcerer now, and he relished the thought.
"How cute he is now!" Woldrand exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with cruel satisfaction. "I never thought my brother could be so adorable. The body of a warrior and the docile spirit we desired." He approached the bed, running a hand through Lyrand's sweat-dampened hair. "You've done well, Tarabas. My brother is truly transformed." Lyrand, his eyes still locked on Tarabas, whispered, "Master." Tarabas smirked, his finger trailing down Lyrand's cheek. "Yes, my obedient prince." Woldrand's smirk widened, his eyes flicking between the two. "It seems our plan has succeeded beyond our expectations. Lyrand is now a powerful sorcerer and, more importantly, loyal to us." Lyrand's cheeks flushed at his brother's words, but he found he couldn't deny the pleasure he felt at being admired and desired in this new form. "I'm glad I meet your approval, brother," he said, his voice meek and obedient. Woldrand smiled broadly, his eyes never leaving Lyrand's transformed body. "Oh, you do, little brother. You most certainly do."
The sound of the door closing snapped Lyrand back to the present, and he looked up to see Tarabas and Woldrand leaving the chamber, their faces illuminated by the flickering torchlight. As the door closed, leaving him alone, Lyrand's gaze fell on his reflection in a nearby mirror. He saw a stranger—a powerful sorcerer with a body honed for pleasure and a mind that now held secrets and magic.
A small smile curved his lips as he realized that he enjoyed his new identity, even if it was forced upon him.
The King-Boy
The sun shone brightly on a crisp autumn afternoon as Tristan, with a hint of reluctance, made his way from his student apartment to his family home. His strides were purposeful, yet there was an air of casualness about him with his hands shoved into the pockets of his blue varsity jacket —a signature Tristan charm.
He'd been tasked with babysitting his younger sister, Emily, and while he wasn't exactly thrilled about it, he knew it was the least he could do after rejecting his father's wishes. The tension between them was palpable; Tristan's decision to turn down the military scholarship had been a sore spot, and his father's disappointment hung heavy in the air.
He knew his father wanted the best for him, but the idea of a disciplined military life never sat well with Tristan's free-spirited nature. He had always been a bit of a rebel, and the thought of obedience and rigid rules made him cringe. Besides, the prospect of being sent to war zones, fighting for causes he didn't believe in, was not something he was willing to risk his life for.
Whatsoever today, Tristan had no choice but to put that aside and focus on Emily. Upon arriving at the cozy family home, Tristan found Emily in her pink-themed bedroom, a room that screamed 'little princess.' She sat on her bed, her curly brown locks bouncing as she eagerly awaited her brother's arrival. "Tristan!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with adoration. "You're here! Are you going to read me a story?" He couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, his heart softening despite himself. "Of course, Em. What story did you have in mind?" Emily scrambled to her bookshelf and pulled out a well-worn fairy tale book. "This one! It's about a princess and an evil queen. I want to know if the princess gets saved." Sighing, Tristan sat on the edge of the bed, his varsity jacket creasing slightly.
"Alright, let's see what this princess is up to." He opened the book, his deep voice filling the room as he began to read. "Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a beautiful princess..." As Tristan narrated the tale, Emily's eyes grew wide with wonder. The story was one of adventure and peril, where the princess was captured by an evil queen with magical powers. Brave knights attempted to rescue her, but many fell victim to the queen's dark magic, transformed into creatures or slain by her guards. Tristan's voice took on a dramatic tone, bringing the characters to life. "The king, desperate to save his daughter, sought a brave soul who could break the curse. But all who tried..." He paused for effect, "...met a grim fate." Emily's attention was rapt, her small hands clasped tightly together. "Do you think anyone can save her, Tristan?" He shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess we'll have to wait and see." Tristan's voice held a hint of boredom, his mind drifting to his own predicament. He, too, felt trapped, albeit in a different kind of fairy tale. "I bet you could save the princess," Emily said, her voice filled with admiration. "You're so strong and smart." A chuckle escaped Tristan's lips. "Me? Save a princess? I don't think so. I'm not the heroic type, and I'm definitely not risking my life for a stranger." Emily's face fell slightly, but her belief in her brother was unwavering. "But you're my hero, Tristan. I know you'd help her if you could." She reached into a toy box and pulled out a plastic necklace with a glittering red gem. "And with this magic necklace, you could control dragons! The princess would be saved for sure." Tristan couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. He allowed Emily to place the toy necklace around his neck, indulging her playful imagination. “Thanks, Emily," he said and played along. "I'll keep it safe until the right prince comes along."
As Tristan continued reading, Emily's eyes grew heavy, and she drifted off to sleep. As Tristan sat there, the gem at his neck began to glow, emitting a soft light that illuminated the room. Startled, he reached for the necklace, but before he could grasp it, a whirlwind of magic engulfed him and a blinding flash transported him into the very fairy tale he had been reading. He found himself in a grand hall of a castle, its high ceilings and ornate columns a stark contrast to Emily's cozy room. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the sound of distant trumpets echoed through the halls. Tristan, now dressed in a blue velvet jerkin, tight white pants, and golden riding boots, stood in awe, taking in his new surroundings.
"Noble Tristan, what a blessing that you are here to free my daughter!" A deep voice startled him, and he turned to face a regal figure—the king himself. Tristan's heart raced, realizing he was now a part of the very story he had been reading. Although surprised by the king's knowledge of his name, Tristan maintained his composure. He had no intention of playing the hero, but he recognized this as his chance to find a way back home. Feigning interest, he played along, knowing this was his ticket to finding the elusive queen. "Your Majesty, I am at your service. I shall do whatever it takes to aid in the princess's rescue." His mind, however, was already plotting his escape from this fantastical realm. "But first, I must ask, where might I find the queen?" The king's eyes narrowed, and he stroked his beard thoughtfully. "The queen, with her dark magic, resides in a castle beyond the northern mountains.” Delighted by Tristan's willingness, the king revealed his plan. "We have learned of a secret passage that leads directly to the Queen's castle. if you can distract her, my men will sneak into her castle and rescue my daughter." Tristan just nodded.
And so, with the king's guidance, Tristan embarked on his quest, riding through enchanted forests and crossing mystical rivers. The journey was not without its perils, but the young man's determination kept him focused.
Finally, the majestic castle of the evil Queen loomed before them. Guards, clad in dark armor, escorted Tristan while he strode through the castle's halls, his boots echoing on the stone floors. The throne room loomed ahead, and as he entered, the evil Queen's laughter echoed off the walls, sending shivers down his spine. "Ah, another brave soul, come to rescue the princess?" she cackled, her eyes sparkling with malevolence. "Do you not fear the fate of those who came before you?" Tristan stood tall, his voice steady. "I do not seek the princess, my lady. I have a more personal request. I wish to return home, and I was told you might hold the key to my freedom." The Queen's eyes narrowed, her interest piqued. "And why should I assist you, young man? What could you possibly offer me?" Tristan leaned forward, his expression earnest. "Knowledge, my lady. I have learned of a secret plan—an invasion of your castle. If you help me, I can provide details that might save countless lives." The Queen's laughter filled the room and the knowledge of his impending betrayal only added to her amusement. "You would betray your king for your own gain? How delightfully cunning. Very well, young Tristan, I shall send you home, but first, share with me these secrets." Tristan revealed the king's plan, his words flowing freely. The Queen listened intently, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction as she realized the extent of the betrayal. Within hours, the queen's forces had captured every man involved.
Tristan, stood before the evil Queen, his once indifferent demeanor now laced with a hint of nervousness. He had played his part, revealing the King's plan, and now awaited his reward—a passage back to his world.
The Queen's smirk sent a chill down his spine. Delighted by Tristan's treachery, she was offering him a place by her side. "Don't you want to stay and explore the wonders of this realm? You could be a revered knight, admired by all." Her words were tempting, playing on his desire for admiration. But Tristan's reluctance to commit to anything beyond his self-interest remained steadfast. "A knight? No, thank you, Your Majesty. To die on some battlefield, fighting for a cause that isn't mine? I'd rather not end up a casualty of war. I want to return home." His response was laced with a hint of sarcasm, a remnant of his mischievous nature.
The Queen's eyes narrowed, her amusement turning to intrigue. "Very well, Tristan. To go home, you must kiss me and voice your wish." As the words left her lips, Tristan couldn't help but grin. *So this is how it's done in fairy tales*, he thought, amused by the cliché. He leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. The kiss was innocent at first, a mere formality to seal their agreement. But as their lips touched, a spark ignited within Tristan, a sensation he had never known before. His body responded with a hunger he couldn't control. His cock throbbed against the confines of his pants, straining against the fabric. The Queen, sensing his arousal, broke the kiss and ran her fingers along his jawline, her touch sending waves of pleasure through him. "My, my, what have we here?" she purred, her eyes glinting with satisfaction. With deliberate slowness, she began to undress him, her fingers deftly unbuttoning his jerkin and sliding it off his shoulders. Tristan stood before her, naked and exposed, his cock standing erect, a testament to his desire. The Queen positioned herself on her throne, her dress pooling around her like a dark cloud. She spread her legs, revealing her moist core, and beckoned him with a tilt of her head. Tristan needed no further invitation. He moved towards her, his cock leading the way, and thrust into her with a rhythm that spoke of his urgency. "Yes, my noble Tristan, show me your strength," she crooned, her voice laced with encouragement. "Show me how you wield your sword." Her words spurred him on, and he fucked her with increasing fervor. The throne creaked with each powerful thrust, the sound of flesh slapping against flesh filling the room. Tristan's breath came in ragged gasps as he neared his climax. "I'm so close," he moaned, his voice hoarse with desire. The Queen matched his rhythm, her hips rising to meet his, her fingers digging into his shoulders. "Show me, Tristan. Show me the power of your sword." With a final, powerful thrust, Tristan reached his climax, his body shuddering as he released himself deep within her. He cried out, a sound that was part pleasure and part surprise, as he experienced a release unlike any he had known before.
Spent, he collapsed at the Queen's feet, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath.
The Queen, still seated on the throne, looked down at him with a satisfied smile. Her hand reached out, stroking his flaccid cock. To his surprise, he felt himself respond, his cock twitching back to life and slowly stiffening once more. "Oh, my dear Tristan," she cooed, her voice dripping with satisfaction, "I see you are not yet done. Are you wishing to put your sword in my service, Tristan?" she asked, her voice laced with both power and seduction. She knew full well the power of her words, the double meaning they held. Tristan, still dazed from the intensity of his orgasm, didn't fully comprehend her words. He assumed she was referring to his cock, and without hesitation, he answered, "Yes, my Queen." A grin played around the queen's lips, because she had him right where she wanted! She reveled in the thought that Tristan has just unwittingly pledged himself to her. "Welcome, my knight," she said, her voice dripping with satisfaction. "And how far might you go to serve me, my loyal subject?" Her tone was light, almost playful, but the undercurrent of power was unmistakable. The question caught Tristan off guard. But before he could process his response, the words tumbled from his mouth before he could stop them, as if some unseen force guided his tongue. "I would die for you, my Queen." He froze, shocked by his own declaration and the consequences of it slowly dawning on him. Had he just agreed to become her knight? To serve and protect her, even at the cost of his own life? How could he, the very embodiment of youthful reluctance, offer such a profound sacrifice? His mouth had betrayed him, speaking words he never would have uttered under normal circumstances. The realization hit him like a slap. He had just pledged his life to this woman, this evil enchantress. As if reading his thoughts, the Queen chuckled, a sound that sent shivers down his spine. "Oh, my dear Tristan, you have just become my knight. Your fate is sealed, and your loyalty is now unwavering." His agreement to serve her with his 'sword' had triggered a spell, binding him to her will. Tristan's mind raced as he tried to process what was happening. He had never been one to commit wholeheartedly to a cause, especially one as dangerous as knighthood. But now, under the Queen's spell, his thoughts were transforming. The idea of fighting on the battlefield, of risking his life for her, no longer filled him with dread but with a sense of purpose and honor. And strangely, the thought of dying for her made his cock twitch with desire.
The queen's eyes narrowed, a mixture of amusement and triumph dancing in their depths. She had sensed the change in him, the magic coursing through his veins. "Excellent, my knight. Your devotion is... inspiring." She rose from her throne, her movements graceful and calculated. "Come, let us prepare you for your new role." As if in a trance, he followed her, his steps steady and sure, as if he had always been destined for this path. She led him to a nearby chamber. The marble floor of the chamber was cold against Tristan's bare feet as he followed the queen, his body still glistening with sweat from their passionate encounter. The air was heavy with the scent of incense, and the flickering torchlight cast an eerie glow on the stone walls, creating an atmosphere that both intrigued and unnerved him. At the center of the room, a massive bathtub, carved from pure white marble, awaited them, its surface shimmering with steam. The queen, dressed in her elegant black dress, stood by the tub, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of satisfaction and anticipation. Tristan's heart quickened as he realized the vulnerability of his nakedness in contrast to her fully-clothed form. It was a stark reminder of the power she held over him, a power he had willingly surrendered. "Step in, my knight," she purred, her voice laced with a command he couldn't refuse. Obediently, Tristan approached the tub and lowered himself into the hot, soothing water.
The queen knelt beside the bath, her fingers trailing along his skin, sending shivers down his spine. She held a sponge, dripping with fragrant soap, and began to wash him with slow, deliberate strokes. "You have served me well, Tristan," she whispered, her breath warm on his neck. "And I shall reward you." Her words sent a thrill through him, but it was not the promise of a reward that made his heart race. It was the touch of her hands, the intimacy of this moment, and the knowledge that he was entirely at her mercy. She washed his shoulders, her fingers kneading the tense muscles, and then moved down his arms, her touch both gentle and possessive. As the sponge glided over his chest and arms, he felt a tingling sensation, and his breath caught. His body hair, once a source of pride, was disappearing, leaving his skin smooth and flawless. The queen's magic was at work, transforming him, and he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of excitement at the loss of his former self. Her hands traveled lower, and she cupped his balls, "Your manhood will be a symbol of your dedication." His balls, once heavy and low, began to shrink and tighten, moving upwards as if drawn by an invisible force. It was a strange, almost pleasurable sensation, and he found himself grinning. "My Queen, what... what are you doing to me?" "Ah, my knight, you are becoming more perfect by the moment," she murmured, her voice dripping with satisfaction. "These shrunken, transformed balls will keep you youthful forever. A fitting gift for my loyal servant." Tristan shuddered, his cock hardening at her words. The idea of being her eternal servant, a plaything, should have terrified him, but instead, he felt a rush of excitement. He had become her pleasure tool, and the thought of being nothing more than an object of her desire sent a wave of arousal through him. "Do you like what you see, my knight?" she asked, her fingers tracing the outline of his hardening cock through the water. "Do you like how I've made you?" "Yes, my Queen," he replied, his voice hoarse with desire. "I belong to you." She smiled, a triumphant gleam in her eyes, and continued her bathing ritual, ensuring every inch of his skin was touched by her magic. The water grew cooler, and she helped him out of the tub, her hands never leaving his body. She dried him with a soft cloth, her movements slow and sensual, as if she were savoring every moment. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she produced the outfit of a knight, but with a seductive twist. The black leather pants she offered him were tight, hugging his legs like a second skin, and he felt a surge of power as he slid them on. No underwear, just his bare skin against the leather. The jerkin, black velvet with a plunging neckline, framed his chest, leaving it exposed to her gaze. "Dress, my knight," she commanded, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let me see my creation." Tristan complied, pulling on the pants, feeling the soft leather caress his skin. His cock strained against the material, the outline clearly visible but he no longer cared about modesty. The queen had taken that from him, replacing it with a constant state of arousal. He donned the jerkin, feeling the velvet brush against his nipples, now sensitive to the slightest touch. "Perfect, you are the embodiment of my desires. A bold knight, ready for battle, and a youthful pleasure boy, eager to serve." she whispered, running her hands over his chest and down his stomach, lingering on the bulge in his pants.
Tristan looked down at himself, his body a perfect blend of strength and sensuality. He was no longer the hesitant jock; he was a creation of the queen's making, designed for fighting and fucking.
The thought should have been alarming, but instead, it excited him. "Your transformation is complete, my knight. From now on, you will serve me, and the very thought of sacrificing your life for me will bring you pleasure." The queen's eyes sparkled with triumph. "You are mine, Tristan, body and soul." He stood tall, his body humming with newfound energy, his mind already embracing the destiny she had envisioned for him. Tristan's reluctance and indifference had vanished, replaced by a burning desire to please his queen, to fight and fuck in her name. As he left the chamber, his footsteps confident, he couldn't help but grin, his eyes gleaming with a newfound lust for life—or perhaps, more accurately, a lust for death in the service of his dark and enchanting queen.
Eighty years had passed since that fateful day when her brother, Tristan, had vanished, leaving nothing but a trail of unanswered questions. The pain of his disappearance had dulled over time, but the memories remained vivid, especially the one of him reading to her from a fairy tale book, a cherished moment before he vanished without a trace. Now, in the twilight of her life, Emily found herself in a senior home, sipping lukewarm tea, a far cry from the warm and lively household she once knew. She had long given up complaining about the temperature of her tea, knowing the nurses wouldn't heed her requests. But on this particular day, as she reached for a faded fairy tale book, a surge of nostalgia and curiosity overcame her. It was the fairy tale book that Tristan had always read to her. The pain of his disappearance too raw to bear, she had avoided the book for decades, for it was the last thing Tristan had read to her before his sudden absence. But now, as she approached the end of her journey on this earth, she felt prepared to revisit the story. "It's time to finally finish the story, Tristan," she whispered, her voice carrying a mix of determination and sorrow.
As she turned the pages, a bittersweet smile crept across her face. She noticed the peculiar coincidence of the protagonist's name, Tristan, identical to her brother's. It was as if the author had known her brother, capturing his essence in the character's deeds and demeanor.
The tale spoke of a young man, noble and brave, who found himself entangled in a web of magic and deceit. This Tristan, like her brother, was charismatic and confident, his charm effortlessly drawing people to him. But there was a darkness to this fictional Tristan, a mirror of the flaws Emily knew all too well in her brother. The tale spoke of Tristan's betrayal of the king, a deceitful act committed for personal gain. Emily's eyes widened as she read, for she saw her brother's actions in this fictional betrayal. It was a trait she had witnessed in him—a tendency to prioritize his interests, sometimes at the expense of others. She thought back to the countless times Tristan had charmed his way out of trouble, his mischievous smile belying a clever mind. "How could he betray the king and the princess?" she whispered, her voice carrying a mix of disappointment and understanding. In her heart, she believed that the queen's magic, which bound Tristan to her service, was a fitting punishment for his treachery. It was a harsh lesson in loyalty and honor, one that her brother had seemingly failed to learn. Yet, as the story progressed, Emily's disgust grew. The ease with which Tristan succumbed to the queen's enchantment, becoming her knight and, worse, her pleasure boy, was unsettling. She had always known her brother to be a charmer, but this... this was different.
The tale continued, revealing that Tristan's free spirit could not be contained for long. He rallied the queen's warriors, turning them against her, and in a twist of fate, he became their leader. With cunning and guile, he tricked the queen, a common trope in ancient fairy tales. But Tristan's punishment was cruel; he had the queen shackled in red-hot iron, forcing her to grant his every wish. Yet, despite his efforts, he remained trapped in his youthful form, forever horny and without a trace of modesty. He ruled the realm with a youthful vigor, conquering other kingdoms and earning the title 'King-Boy'.
Emily's heart fluttered as she read these words, unsure if she was thinking of the fictional Tristan or her brother. "He always did have a way of getting himself into peculiar situations," she sighed, a mixture of fondness and exasperation in her voice. A tear escaped, rolling down her wrinkled cheek, as she remembered her brother's playful smile and the sound of his laughter.
As Emily's fingers brushed the final page, the ancient binding began to glow, emitting a crimson light that illuminated the room. A figure emerged from its pages —her brother, Tristan! Emily's breath caught in her throat as she beheld a young man, no older than nineteen, with a mischievous glint in his eye, his attire a blend of fantasy and allure. He was dressed in enchanted knight attire, his black leather pants hugging his legs, and a black velvet jerkin showcasing his chest. His blond hair, once neatly styled, now held a slight wave, and his piercing blue eyes had softened with a lustful gleam.
"Tristan?" Emily whispered, her voice trembling. The young man smiled, and it was a smile she knew all too well. "Hello, Emily. It seems you've been reading about my adventures." His voice carried a hint of amusement, and he strode into the room with the confidence of royalty. “I've missed your company." His gaze, once indifferent, now held a mischievous glint, as if he relished the surprise he had caused. Emily's eyes welled up with tears of joy and relief. She offered him the teacup, a gesture of hospitality. "Welcome home, dear brother. I'm afraid the tea isn't very warm." Tristan took the cup and frowned, his brow furrowing in a familiar manner. "Indeed, it's rather lukewarm, isn't it? I've never been one for cold tea." Emily sighed, her gaze drifting to the window. "I've complained about the tea countless times, but the nurses here never seem to listen." Tristan took the cup and walked to the door. "Maid!" he called out as a nurse hurried past the hallway. "This tea is cold!" The nurse, flustered and annoyed, stopped in her tracks. "The tea is hot enough, and I've no time for your games, young man. Mr. Williams in room 203 can't breathe, and I need to attend to him." In a swift motion Tristan poured the tea onto the nurse, startling her. "Hey!" she exclaimed, taken aback by the sudden action. "Cold tea, indeed!" he exclaimed. "If it were hot, you'd be howling in pain. Apologize, maid, for your insolence!" The nurse, to Emily's astonishment, fell to her knees, as if compelled by an unseen force. "I—I'm sorry, sir," she stammered. "Excellent," Tristan purred, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "As a merciful king, I shall grant you a chance to redeem yourself. Bring us hot tea, posthaste, and address me as my King." As the nurse scurried off, Emily's mind raced. "Tristan, what about Mr. Williams?" Playfully raising an eyebrow, Tristan feigned ignorance. ""Emily, he can no longer breathe. I doubt tea is on his mind at the moment." Emily's expression turned from concern to confusion, and then to realization. Tristan's indifference to the plight of others had not faded over the years. She took a deep breath, her emotions warring within her. "But Tristan, he might—" He cut her off, his eyes sparkling with ambition. "Do you think they'd still offer me that scholarship at the military university? I could make those generals bow with a mere glance!"
Emily's emotions battled within her. The joy of having her brother back was tempered by the realization that he hadn't changed. The same playful arrogance that had always charmed her now left her conflicted. "Tristan, you... you haven't changed a bit. But I thought..." "Changed? Why should I? The world bends to my will, and I've ruled the fairy tale realm for decades. Imagine what I could do at that military university! I've conquered countless fairy tale realms, and now, I could rule this world too." Tristan's eyes gleamed with ambition. Emily shook her head, a mixture of fondness and exasperation washing over her. "You always were stubborn, Tristan. But I'm just glad you're here. I've missed you so much." Tristan's expression softened, and for a fleeting moment, a hint of vulnerability flashed in his eyes. "I've missed you too, Emily. But enough of this sentimentality. Let's enjoy this tea and plot my return to the mortal realm. I have a kingdom to rule and a world to conquer!" As they awaited the nurse's return, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and unease. The brother she knew and loved was back, but he was also a king from a fairy tale, with all the complexities and contradictions that entailed. He spoke of conquests and power, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was the hero or the villain of his own story.
