I haven't started watching A New Wish yet, but I already love Peri.

And I realized, I know two fairies named Periwinkle. So I had to draw them together.

The other one is from The Smurfs. She's a spoiled, bratty, narcissist pixie princess. She tried to kill Vanity after her magic mirror showed that he was the fairest in the world, and not her.

In the end, she apologized and they became friends, but I imagine that she's still not a very nice person.

When she heard about another fairy with the same name as her, she was furious. To make it worse, he's extremely handsome!

So I was re-reading my 'Needle In The Hay' when I suddenly had an idea-   Something about vain princess / humble do gooder meeting sounded mighty fine, especially since Gourdy was also the reason Farmer ended up spilling the drink on Periwinkle in that story XD I see some potential to play around with Royalty meets servantry. And whilst I don't imagine they'd like each other at all at the start I still think mayhaps they'd bring out some good in the end c:< Gourdy and Periwinkle (c) The Smurfs
