Currently finishing up twd and I must say, when people said the show went downhill after like S7-8 they weren't kidding.

I love Lydia and some of the other characters that were introduced in these later seasons but I would choose Carl over EVERYBODY literally any day.

Like don't get me wrong, there are certain arcs that were cool for a moment or in concept.

Like the Whisperers was cool for a time but it wasn't a strong enough arc to last an entire season like this show does.

Unfortunately it relies too heavily on like ig whatever happens in the comics (outside of killing off Carl) and it's like some of this stuff may pass under dropping a certain amount of chapters/issues but in a show setting?

These important storylines are really only developed enough to maybe last 10-15 eps, not an entire 20 sumn season. So the fact that the last two seasons break the usual mold that the previous seasons had set with only having 16 eps per season, by having 20+ is one thing but on top of that having the weakest storylines in the show really is detrimental to the show as a whole.

And you can tell by how the story starts to wane in quality and even low-key how they film it too. So unfortunately I might just consider the show having ended like season 6-7 somewhere round there.

It’s a shame we only met Princess towards the end of the walking dead because she was such a great character. I know she only gets introduced near the end of the comics as well but I wish the show had brought her in earlier.

I’m glad she got a happy ending though because she suffered so much. The scene where she tells Mercer what her step dad and brother did to her and her mums neglect breaks my heart every time💔

The teen ships i dont have too much of a comment on just cause bleh who cares,, but Carl does not need that many girlfriends, as least throw in a ron if ur gonna toss enid in their,, anyways im also iffy about lydia n carl cause im pretty sure theres like a 3yr gaps or so? n at that age its just a bit odd but carl does act a bit above his age if that makes sense overall, idgaf mostly about the ships involing carl cause i have seen ppl just go a bit odd over them,, overall ik ppl who like the different carl ships so they usually get a tick in my head

lydia and eloide hoenslty yeah that could work,, i just wonder if lydia would get a bit upset that michonne actually came back to be a good mum for eloide while hers was well,, alpha,, and michonne wasnt the perfect mum at times yk with pushing her kids away n all that so i think they could bond over that,, also imaging a sweet moment with michonne finding out about them n just basically adopting lydia hear me out,,
