ooooooooooo thats a ship ive never heard of before! i made it pale johnkri i hope you dont mind ^^;;-----You had been wandering the dream bubbles for a while when you met him. You initially thought his lectures were, like, 80% of his personality and decided to try to be around him the least you could. You had already had to deal with Karkat's virtual yelling while still alive so you definitely didn't want to be around another troll who couldn't seem to shut up for even two seconds.But then you came across him one day, or night? You're not sure, time doesn't make a lot of sense in the dream bubbles, but anyway, you came across him while he wasn't giving some poor unsuspecting troll an earful. He seemed different then somehow, sadder. You decided that maybe he wasn't all talk after all.You decided to keep an eye out for him, becoming quite fascinated by him over time. You witness him lecturing those who appear to be his friends, or acquaintances at the very least. Most of them walk away in the middle of it, sometimes he chases after them to finish his lecture, but other times he seems to give up and looks dejected as he trudges along to a different bubble. Those latter instances hit you the hardest for some reason, they fill you with... pity? You're not quite sure but it hurts, makes you want to be his friend and comfort him. After observing him for a while you decide you need to know more, that you need to know the story behind things. The thought that you've been kinda more or less stalking him briefly crosses your mind but it's quickly dismissed. After all it's not like you have bad intentions, and you haven't exactly been following him around, you just observe him while he happens to be in the area. That's not creepy, right? But how are you going to find out more about him if you don't talk to him? So here you are, walking up to him to go and introduce yourself. He notices your presence and greets you, he seems a bit surprised, you think he might not be used to people actually walking up to him for a chat voluntarily. That thought makes you sad. Surely he can't be that bad, right? You return the greeting, introduce yourself and hold out your hand for a shake. He takes the handshake offer and introduces himself as Kankri Vantas, Karkat's dancestor. It makes sense why they seemed so alike now. The two of you begin talking a lot after that initial introduction and quickly become vast friends. He tells you about himself and vise versa. After getting to know him better and understanding his reasons for talking so much and about those certain topics you don't think he's annoying at all. In fact, you're more annoyed that you seem to be the first person to look at the person behind the lecture and you haven't even known him for that long. You don't know how much time has passed, but it seems like a long while. You and Kankri hang out a lot now, a few days ago (you think it's been a few but then again, the passing of time is weird here), he asked you to be his moirail. You didn't know what a moirail was exactly, even though Karkat had tried to explain it to you several times while you were alive, but when did you really ever listen to his yelling? You feel kinda bad about that now. Especially since you understand what moiraillegiance is after a lengthy but patient explanation from Kankri. Finally understanding what it is, you decide being moirails with him is something you're willing to try, after all you've got all the time in the universe to figure things out now. And who knows, this might be just what you both needed.
