Doing some... Ahem. *Shopping*
Flynn was in a mood. And this wasn't just any mood. This was a mood blacker than the bottom of the pans at the Snuggly Duckling. Blacker than his boots. Blacker than it had been for months.
He knew why. He'd been stuck in the inn for the last two weeks (hiding from certain patrols who really wanted his head on a spike right now), he had nothing to do, and he hadn't seen Rapunzel.
It didn't help that it was sunny outside.
He'd had enough. He strode out the door, out the inn and began running towards town. He didn't really have a plan, but stealing something usually made him feel better, and the bigger the item, the better he felt. He wondered how the palace's security had changed since he'd last been there...
In town, he'd barely past the gates when he ran into an unnervingly heavily armed patrol. He ducked into a side street and pulled himself onto the roof of a house. From there, he ran across the roofs, leaping from tiles and pulling himself up with gutters. After he'd got far enough, he slid back to street level and wound his way towards the smarter side of the city.
By the time he got near the palace, he'd picked up enough to fill his bag to bursting point, and he wasn't planning on stopping. As he reached over to lift a bundle of grapes from a stall, he heard a shout and saw a soldier looking straight at him. He dropped the grapes and began to run, hearing the soldier give chase and call for reinforcements behind him. Damn.
