Flynn wasn't going to wait any longer. Gothel was supposed to be gone today, and he and Rapunzel could finally have some time to themselves. Max had known it was today and when Flynn opened the door of the Snuggly Duckling he found Max waiting just outside. So close that he'd bumped straight into him and they'd had a brief tussle for old times sake before they were charging off towards the tower.
He vaulted off Maximus at the base and peered up towards the tower. Ah well, he thought, here goes.
"Rapunzel! Rapuuuunzel! I could use a lift up this time, climbing is a bit difficult!" He waited for some kind of answer.
