OWL HOUSE FACT #105: As human culture occasionally seeped into the Isles a young Faust came across the Christopher Marlowe play about a man - named Faust - who sells his soul to the devil. Our Faust was not impressed, and (although he never showed it) worried it would lead to people making fun of him. This was squashed when he became the principal of Hexside, and the play was promptly banned despite it not being known to the general public.

Principal Faust's unwieldy Head

Okay, I just noticed something amazing.

When Principal Faust turns away from the trophy cabinet, he does something peculiar.

Yes, I know creepy.

But he didn't do that to be creepy.

He actually needs to turn his head like this so his horns don't scrape against the top of the cabinet!

Which suddenly makes this scene very funny!
