Here’s some bug prints! I did these for a class but there was a third however I don’t love that one. I included the digital drawing I did that I put on the linoleum blocks and the prints that came from them. These ones came out so good, I love them despite being a beginning printer. For these I carved into large linoleum blocks that were super soft. Those things are expensive tho lol but hypothetically I could make more. I printed a few copies but I scanned the best ones and touched them in photoshop and procreate. I think I might try printing those blocks on fabric someday. They would make great jacket back pieces for sure.
The original prompt was remembering tomorrow which made me think of the idea of thinking of the future. I had been spiraling about death during this time so my idea turned morbid to remembering we’re going to die he see the death moth but also the stages of remembering the future will happen. From the chrysalis to the moth. In each stage of life we’re always thinking of our future but we all eventually die. All of our futures end that way.
