Two zines from the Mini Midwest Printfest! I love this event and was happy that I could attend on Sunday because it was raining on Saturday. We didn't stay for the steamroller show this time but that was amazing last year, too.

I love these two zines I picked up. "5 Ways to Love Your Planet" by Sydneyannart feels so so nice to the touch & so very very pretty. "Indiana Ephemerals" explain what they are (wildflowers that develope early in the spring) and where to see them. The author Aya McGee assured me that I will find some around town, so I will be on the look out!

I totally would've traded if I brought my zines. All the more reason to always carry a zine around in your zine pocket!!!

Applications are now OPEN for Printfest 2018!

Deadline for applications is midnight 7th January 2017

Printfest was founded in 2001, it is the UK’s foremost artist-led printmaking festival. Dedicated to the exhibition and sale of contemporary prints, it offers the public the opportunity to view and purchase good quality affordable artworks, meet the artists and learn more about printmaking. It is also a rare opportunity for the best of the UK’s printmakers to gather under one roof, share practice and learn from each other.

Printfest 2017 welcomed 1,700 visitors and made sales of over £57,000. Printfest takes place each May Bank Holiday weekend at the Coronation Hall in Ulverston, where it has taken place since its inception. The Coro is one of the principal buildings in Ulverston and has the largest capacity of any hall in the south Cumbrian area.
