TWRPtober | Day 12 | Prismatic Core
Broke: The Perfect Product is The Device.
Woke: The Perfect Product is the Prismatic Core.
I don't know about any other headcanons but I made up one this morning.. I was listening to prismatic core and heard the "we must construct additional pylons" and yeah I get the joke but like, sung = pylon? And the tone of the song sounds almost end of the world ish? So what if prismatic core is a place where they created people like sung ("pylons"), but something ducked up and only sung escaped. Making him the last of his people?
Well other than the fact that the prismatic core is actually the light on Sung’s chestpiece i love it
TWRP Theory #1
While most of Doctor Sung’s fighting ability is all his own, his prismatic core puts the “atomic” in his “atomic karate,” so to speak.
Talk to me about Prismatic Core
Like specifically the song. I've been listening to it and idk but I get a strong like Sung backstory vibe from it. Thoughts? Talk to me!
Day 12!! Forbidden lämp.
Songs to distract from Anxiety
A special Yellow Spotted Black Bull playlist.
1. Prismatic Core - Tupper Ware Remix Party, 2nite.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e0gjqKyfWY
Tupper Ware Remix Party is Iron Maiden mixed with Discovery Daft Punk from the future. Prismatic Core is from their 2nite EP and I find it easy to escape where ever you are by listening to it. Mostly, you escape to the 80s you wished had happened.
2. R U Mine - Arctic Monkeys, AM.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngzC_8zqInk
Stoner Rock mixed with an upbeat tempo and some Classic Rock, it may be a bit too fast paced for some whose anxiety needs calming, but I find it’s irresistible beat and tunes force you to forget your problems.
3. Release Your Problems - Chet Faker, Built On Glass.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbette9App8
The title is enough. Release your problems. Silky smooth voice, slow, a bit experimental, but perfect for a bit of relaxing introspection. Unfortunately outshone by Gold by the same artist on the same album.
4. Dear Mama (You Are Appreciated) - Tupac Shakur, Me Against the World.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb1ZvUDvLDY
I always found this song to be both uplifting and melancholy. I love the lyrics. Complex and story in itself. The message is amazing too. You’ve always been there for me. “You are appreciated.” If you dislike rap, you won’t like this song. But even if you like it a bit, listen to this. It’s... heaven.
5. Layla (Unplugged) - Eric Clapton, Eric Clapton Unplugged.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZV7akaSo0s
Perhaps the reason I prefer this song to the original was because I originally believe this to be the original. But another silky smooth song, played acoustically by Eric “Slow Hand” Clapton. Honestly, one of the songs I find perfect among the masses.
6. Winchester - Black Chamber, Black Chamber.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzLIbAHNByA
Chill as chill gets. Jazz, played just right. Relaxes all the right parts that other songs can’t hit. Sucker punches me in all the right places. Doesn’t send me off to sleep, but brings me to a small club in a basement, people at small tables all around, listening enraptured.
7. Drown So I Can Watch - The Twilight Sad, Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo2H1d6-EDo
Don’t ask me why I love this song as much as I do. I feel that if I was in a movie, and laying in bed during a scene where it cut to other characters, this song would be the one playing.
8. Slipping Away - Tanlines, Highlights.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Yb1oQxPhBY
Something happy and upbeat. Something to bring you back up after you’re down. Dance, baby, dance. Not electronic, but just something poppy, for when you need it.
9. Bad Boy Good Man - Tape Five, Tonight Josephine!.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8Wx80TZ8OQ
Swing for those who are into it with a bit of electro. Another bit of upbeat for those who need it. I can’t help myself during “The ladies in the house say: Caramba!”. Try it. You might like it. Just something from my own personal collection.
10. Hearts (Mashup) - Isonine.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV_Ac3m3Gvs
It wouldn’t be me if it there wasn’t a mashup. But easily the absolute most beautiful mashup I’ve ever heard. I want this to play at the moment of my death in my magnum opus of media.
What was sampled in Hearts:
Bon Iver - Perth Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love Childish Gambino - Heartbeat Jeremy Lim ft. Serena Sun - Know You (Voices Remix)
That’s all for now. I might make another for depression or Aspergers.
Tell me what you thought below, ok?
