yeah, darcy has trouble talking to people in general and when the person is a woman that he thinks is attractive his awkwardness increases tenfold. lol

yeah the mistress!elizabeth fics are hard for me to get behind too. saying that, i think there are some situations where elizabeth would agree to become darcy's mistress. the fantastic 'an odd notion of kindness' comes to mind. this author is just brilliant and i recommend all of their pride and prejudice fics. :D

I was reading your tags and was wondering...What's the rake!darcy trope?

there are some fics where darcy is characterized as someone who had a very vast sexual past before knowing elizabeth and that's not my personal headcanon for him. like i don't even believe he's the kind of guy who would have kept a mistress. 

i also don't buy when darcy is portrayed as a smooth-talking lover, i think he who would struggle with expressing his feelings even after marrying elizabeth. he's a guy who feels deeply but doesn't always know how to express himself and i don't think marriage would immediately change that. (my headcanon is that he would get better with time)

does anyone disagree with me? these are just my headcanons. they aren't the ultimate truth. i believe everyone is allowed to have their own headcanons. :D

I am EXACTLY the same with regards to eggs. Nobody else seems to get this.

I don't understand why you're getting all the flack for your ideas on Cinna. 1. If people don't agree, they need to just ignore it. 2. You made valid points. I've found tumblr can be a harsh mistress when it comes to airing an idea. People have jumped all over some typos I've made in the past (D13 instead of 12) just because it gives them something to whine about. Ignore the pettiness; the magic of literature is in the interpretation for goodness sake.

Oh, I definitely know what the wanting to be pissy, especially at your husband, feels like. The husband is the easy and safe way to channel the anger sometimes. And, you know, they can be bloody foolish sometimes too. Hang in there mama, sounds like you're doing great.

He's actually pretty attentive and helpful. He even went and cleaned the kitchen because he knew how irritated I was with it all. I just think everything over the last week has gotten to me. It just got to be too much.

1. Today I was helping to set up for a children's party, and the woman throwing it said that she called me to help because she knows that I'm always willing to assist when people need me.

2. I'm really good at math. Once when my sister was living South Carolina she called me and asked me to help her figure out sale prices. Even calculus was a breeze for me in high school.

3. Pretty much everyone in RL knows how much I love THG. And Taylor Swift. And that I know a lot about pop culture.

4. I make a mean chocolate chip cookie! I'm famous for them among my friends.
