Since I was a teenager I've always hated my hips and my "squished torso." My scoliosis made me at least an inch shorter in the waste, preventing me from having that long cylindrical hour glass shape many women want. I've spent too much of my life wishing I could change this part of my body. For the most part, I have finally said f*** it to wishing I looked different. I can do amazing things with my body and most of the time, I feel strong and comfortable. I've found an amazing man who loves the way I look regardless of whatever "flaws" I think I might have. I don't fit that image that I had in my head but I've come to love and appreciate my body for everything that it can do for me. And from my experience with people, (and even the most beautiful specimens) we all have something we don't like. Whether it's a nose, big boobs or small boobs, hair, height, thighs, an so on.. we are all designed differently so that we can be ourselves. No one has what you have.. so learn to love your "flaws." I have.. and life is a lot more enjoyable this way :) I'm not sharing this for sympathy or for attention.. but I wish that I was a better listener when people's said this same message to me a long time ago. I'm sure many can relate in some way, and I hope you choose to start excepting the natural quirky things about yourself that make you, you. 🤗 . . . . . . . . . . #yoga #yogagirl #instayoga #yogainspiration #yogaeverywhere #yogaeverydamnday #yogaeveryday #yogagram #scoliosis #scoliosisawareness #inspire #handstand #inversionjunkie #bodylove #bodypositive #prettyfull #pritiyoga #aloyoga #fitnessmodel #fitnessmotivation #fitgirl #fitness #selflove #bodytransformation #bodypositivity (at Priti Yoga)
