See, I get why S, if he does have a GF would want it to be really private. But I do think both S and Caits separate obsessions with privacy drive the shippers delusions. They both take things farther than your typical celeb
Anon, there's a difference between wanting privacy and Sam and Cait HIDING their REAL relationships. If Sam and Cait went out of their way to HIDE or DENY their relationships with NOT each other, then you would have a point. But they don't hide anything. Cait has been photographed MULTIPLE times over the YEARS with Tony. And Sam has been photographed MULTIPLE times over the YEARS with girlfriends or dates. Yes, they both want privacy to share only what they want to share about significant others. Again, that’s not the same as hiding things from fans. They've both certainly been out enough times with NOT each other, that any REASONABLE person will surmise they are romantically involved with OTHER people.

Sam and Danielle met when he was on one of his trips to Hawaii a few year ago. Sam holding hands with Christina Ochoa, later fan confirmed it was indeed Christina in the pic. You can see her distinctive tattoo on her wrist. Georgia Ellenwood posting a pic with Sam’s head showing in the mirror and his leg in the foreground. Sam with his arm around Gia Marie at Malibu Pier. That’s the model and make-up artist he went to Big Sur with and then they spent weeks in quarantine together in Hawaii. Sam looking cozy with Hannah James in Glasgow, arm on her leg.

So, Anon, please tell me again how Sam and Cait “drive shippers’ delusions.” ANY REASONABLE person who sees the evidence above (and that’s not even HALF of the pictures that are out there) comes to the LOGICAL conclusion that Cait is with Tony. And Sam is well... NOT with Cait.
The fact that Extreme Shippers have seen this same evidence and STILL delude themselves into thinking Sam and Cait are secretly together speaks to THEM and their mental state...and NOT anything Sam and Cait have done or not done.
