CASSIDY HARPER
Judging by the way her head felt now, and the way the room was spinning already, Cassidy figured last night must’ve been a fun one. Generally, when she woke up with the makings of a killer hangover and no immediate recollection of the night before, the first thing she would do would be to check her phone. There were usually tons of pictures or drunk text message conversations that helped her to piece together whatever had happened. Right now, though, she could barely even open her eyes.
Bringing a hand up to rub her forehead, she groaned at the way her ears began to ring. Evidently, the music had been way too loud last night. It was fortunate that she and Dena’s house was so out of the way, so there were no immediate neighbors to complain. She could only imagine the destruction that awaited her downstairs, but Cassie wouldn’t be dealing with that herself. Blinking a few times to adjust her eyes to the light, she reached out blindly to the bedside table in search of her phone.
Unable to find it after a moment of feeling around, she pushed herself up onto her elbow, finally looking to see that it wasn’t there. Frowning, she turned her body to check elsewhere amongst the mess of bed sheets, her hand reaching out and touching what felt like an arm. Of course there would be someone in here with her... Cassie just didn’t remember who. Sitting up a little, the sheets falling from on top of her to reveal the fact that at least her top half was very much unclothed, she glanced over at the person beside her, practically screaming when she saw who it was.
“Dude, what the actual fuck?!” she squeaked, reaching for the blanket and pulling it up to cover her chest.
I can’t thank all of you enough for everything you have done for me. I’m sad that I won’t get to spend the holidays with you, but I hope you all have an amazing time.
Thank you for welcoming me into your family and never making me leave.
