ABOUT
(Childhood illness cw, cancer cw, death cw) Wesley was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma at the age of 11 after weeks of increasingly upsetting medical emergencies. Most of his prominent childhood memories are of being in the hospital and of watching his parents trying to keep themselves together. Surgery and subsequent radiation therapy pulled off a miracle, but Wesley still lived in a near constant state of anxiety over the possibility of recurrence. He also struggled to adjust socially after so much time spent in sterile, controlled environments. Since he spent his formative years unsure of if he’d even make it to adulthood, Wesley was lost when it came time for college. He enrolled at PSU simply because that was his family’s expectation, finally settling on a museum studies major after taking an intro-level class on a whim. As someone who didn’t think he’d have a future, there was a comfort when it came to preserving the past. He got his bachelor’s, then his master’s, then worked his way into the role of assistant archivist for the LA Museum of Natural History. On the surface, between his job and love of history, Wesley is a giant nerd. But before he’s a giant nerd, Wesley is someone who has spent almost three decades feeling like he’s alive on borrowed time. He has problems letting people get too close in case his body decides to betray him again. Additionally, flirting with the grim reaper at a young age has made him stupidly reckless to remind him that he’s still on this plane of existence. He has a bad habit of picking fights he knows he can’t win, be that verbal or physical. He’s quick to involve himself in things he has no business being in. It’s not that he’s some sort of martyr. Death’ll have to try harder if it wants him so badly.

TW DEPRESSION. TW ABUSE. TW TORTURED. TW. CRIMINAL ACTS.
Kids are all for the spotlight, and what it holds, but that wasn’t Wesley. He knew his parents were famous, and he felt the need to stay away from all the spotlight because he didn’t want to become an actor, or someone that feeds off the paparazzi and their flashing cameras. The spotlight wasn’t his to begin with, and the spotlight isn’t going to be there when he finally graduates with his masters.
Wesley Jameson Wilde was born on April 25th. The oldest out of the Wilde family, and the one that should be the good role model, but that absolutely didn’t work out for the best. He had everything. He had the toys. He had the clothing. He had the home, but he felt like his life shouldn’t be about how much things he got from his parents. He always felt sick to him stomach when they had to buy him something, because he wanted to help himself, and only himself.
He grew up with three identical sisters whom he loves very much, and he even loves his adoptive brother. Family always came first when it came down to it, but he could never speak of the things he’s done to keep his life happy. He wanted to be independent from everyone else, and by the time he was old enough to skip town, he went ahead and did that.
Wesley was never considered the good kid in the Wilde household though. He was really smart at school related things, but he wasn’t that smart when it came down to not getting involved in illegal substances and work. He didn’t feel like he needed to have his parent’s money trying to change him. He didn’t want to be the kid that wanted his parent’s help, even if he loves them more than anything. He didn’t feel comfortable asking them for the help that was needed when he was going through his teen years.
It was about smuggling drugs, and actually knowing how to shoot a gun. He knew this wasn’t how he wanted to live his life, but the money was good, and he needed to survive somehow. He started to regret the decisions though. He grew depressed, and his anxiety started to burst more and more as time went on. He wanted out, and by getting out was just how his nightmare started. He was tortured, and beaten until his debts were in place. It was a dark time for him, but he felt comfortable knowing that he was done with the criminal life. He wanted to explore his options.
When Wesley actually got on the plane to Las Vegas to leave his family, he felt so much weight just crash onto him. He was about to start his life without his family. This was reality to him, and there was absolutely no way for him to back out now. He was starting a new life without his family, and he felt okay with it.
Even though he was quite smart in academics at school, he didn’t feel like college was his thing. He felt like he was going to do illegal things for the rest of his life, and probably hit the ill gotten gains era, but then he felt the nerve to actually get into business. He wanted to control his own business. He had enough money to do so, and so he found himself in college.
Wesley owns a casino/hotel on the Strip called, ‘The Wilde One.’, and it’s really popular among travelers, and people that just want to have a good time. He wanted to expand on the hotel part of it all throughout the United States. He’s trying to work on that while trying to get his Masters in Business Administration. He believes he’s living the good life.
BABY, THERE'S NO OTHER SUPERSTAR
Wesley is standing at 6'2. Short dark hair. Scruffy beard. Hidden tattoos. No piercings. He usually wears dress shirts, or suits that make him look professional. He sometimes wears comfortable clothing when he just wants to relax at home, but other than that, he wants to wear business dress shirts whenever he has the chance. He drinks through days where he has a lot of paper work, but he doesn’t find himself smoking.
